ok guys, im thinking of going a lil bit diffrent route here. How about a more Planeswalker/tokens control type of deck. heres the list i brewed up and started testing on MWS and Cockatrice.

Sorin is obviously the real deal and his ultimate is clearly insane. im aware MWS and cockatrice matches dont mean much but it could just be food for thought

Against Solar Flare, it's pretty weak. Against Red... I find it a necessary evil. It sucks to pay 4 for it, but it's better than getting whittled down by Nobles. To me, the advantage is all in the mana cost. I love Oblivion Ring, but 3 mana feels like a crazy amount to pay.

totlly agree with this, those nobles start adding damage pretty quickly. Even if you drop a blocker or two our creatures are only gonna get burned away to clear the way for the stromkirk noble or force bad block just to keep him from getting the counter. might as well just dismember it first turn and take the 4 life loss as a buy out.

how is it an instant win with glissa? the only combo i see in there is you can use Perilous Myr to sweep all the opponents creatures of toughness <= 2. who friggin cares.

all of those other uses (the small mana discounts on otherwise unimpressive creatures) seems pointless. seriously, who friggin cares. investing a card so you can use viridian emmisary as a 1 mana rampant growth? why didn't you just cast rampant growth?

    [CARD]

    perilous myr
[/CARD] can also target players.so with hertless summoning in play play myr for free its dies automatically dealing 2 dmg to opponent returning to your hand with glissa rinse lather repeat...

Yeah I was thinking about a Lark-Pod deck last night. I think going Naya is better cause of this

    T1 Birds
    T2 Pod
T3 Avalanch Rider, swing for 2, sac it for Acidic Slime
T4 Swing with Slime, sac it for Lark and now if they kill lark they lose 2 lands.

    T1 Birds
    T2 Pod
T3 Wood Elves to an Avalanche Rider
T4 Avalanch Rider to Acidic Slime
    T5 Acidic Slime to Lark
T6 Lark to Yosei (get Rider and Slime back)
    T7 Rider to get Slime

can't pod from acidic slime to lark. they both cost 5..

i play a green 12 post deck also. very strong i.m.o. Your decklist looks good. i went in a diffrent direction using Tooth and nail and primary win-con.

you should consider Plow Under in your s.b. almost an auto Win vs mirror match.

"The Rock" name comes from the former wrestler. It refered to the creatures in the deck: Phyrexian Plaguelord (The Rock) and Deranged Hermit and his tokens (His Millions).

this would be the correct way to explain how the original rock was created. and basically the name stuck to any BG/x deck.

EDH is a casual fun format. There is no "teir one" you're either lame and playing an unfun broken deck or youre sticking to the point and having fun with it.

bro , it may have started out as a casual fun format, but has evolved into competitve.

Yes. You choose the value of X, and then when you calculate the total cost to activate the ability, Training Grounds' cost reduction abilities apply.

With two Training Grounds, declaring X to be 4, the total cost would be 4BB - 4 = BB. This doesn't violate the "less than one mana" limitation on Training Grounds' ability, so that's the final cost.

then i do believe that is amazing sir.. thank u

if i have a traning grounds in play and use drana's ability to give target creautre +0/-x , does it only cost 2 black to give target creautre 0/-2 . and if i had 2 traning grounds in play would it accumulate ?

I'm not sure how adding Goblin Assault will affect the flow, especially because the only way to add it without really messing with the consistency is to drop lands, increasing the likelihood of getting mana-screwed. But I like it so much, it works amazingly well with the Monument, SGC, and Raid Bombardment, I'm at least going to try it out. Plus, it lets me keep Eldrazi Spawn AND Wolves after the Monument hits, helping ramp AND increasing lockdown. Plus, it'll be an easy thing to side out, along with Raid Bombardment, depending on the deck I'm playing.

instead of removing land from your decklist i would suggest removing the 4 mul daya channelers . by adding the enchantments you'll be increasing the chance of not revaling creautres or lands from the top making her underwhelming. Besides personally im not a fan or broadcasting your draws. i like the deck thou and may try it on MWS with litte changes as far as prefrence.

Is Manabarbs really that great against control? Obviously it punishes them for anything they cast, but wouldn't Luminarch Ascension be better? Grixis can't keep it offline for long (forcing them to attack with a manland that we can then bolt seems good), and not all versions run bounce to deal with it. Against B/W, if Jace comes down and has to bounce this, he's not bouncing a threat, and he's not going to last too long. Besides removing it, all they can do is attack with Colonnade to keep it offline, and if they're tapping out early for that, we're going to be stomping in for way more.

White is also easier to produce than red, plus Ascension doesn't hurt us.

jace cant bounce it, only returns creautres.

Yeah, I mostly needed 2 more spots and couldn't think of anything. Liege is a good idea.

I guess my meta is full of counters. Every deck with U seems to have Cryptic Command, Broken Ambitions, Negate, and whatnot...it can be difficult for an aggro deck to get those last few points of damage.

your right, i apologize. i was talking about the deck in general. of course if your meta is counter heavy i can see why u would opt for 2 md.

So the main thing with this is Tower Above, which does the Colossal Might thing, but with no "bloodbraid whiff". Also, there aren't that many targets for Sarkhan, but he insisted I put him in this deck...he can be very persuasive. Also, Vexing Shusher can be a secret tech to keep your damage coming in...seriously, people have forgotten about that card. Mogg Fanatic is there because he always does damage. And last, I put incinerate in because, well, since when has cascading into 3 damage been bad?

Let me know what you think.

sarkhan vol is not needed. why not just use boartusk leige. your creautres already have haste. boartusk does a better job at pumping your guys and has a sizeable body to keep up the pressure.

also vexing shusher is in no way md worthy. i agree hes good as a sb card but nothing more.

i like the tower above idea. ima have to try it and test.
