Legacy could easily be saved. Shred the restricted list, and print legacy masters with no holds barred. That would never happen but if Wizards really wanted to keep legacy around they could. As for the opens, I really hope in future years they continue to up the count of modern events, because two events in places where I don't live don't really do it for me.
Can you use daretti, scrap savant's -2 ability to sacrifice an artfact, let's say wurmcoil engine and immediately bring that same wurcoil back from the graveyard and go to value town?
Flip it.
Do a 360 and buy another MM box for 360 and blaze it for 420, repeat Ad Nauseam until you can Tendrils for lethal.
Don't even play around Flusterstorm, just do it.
You're probably not going to get that money back, just watch a few openings on youtube if you need a sample of what people pull. The prices for "vintage" booster boxes are always based on best case scenarios, so unless you get that foil bob or Goyf, I doubt it will be a good idea to open it. Probably would be pretty fun though.
Hi, im new to pox. I built the budget deck example on the first page of the primer with the intention of changing it up a bit. One card that i was thinking about is bloodchief ascension. it seems to me that it wouldnt be that difficult to get it up and running with things like mishras factory and nether spirits and once it gets going it seems like resolving a pox or even a small pox would be near game ending. On the other hand its a bit slow. what do you think?
I think the list is kind of light of discard. Perhaps you should consider swapping a few of those creatures for one drop discard spells such as Duress or raven's crime. I feel that the creatures in your deck are a bit too delicate to depend on. Also if you want to spring for it phrexian arena is a lot better then plunge for finding your racks IMO.
Went 4-0 in my first pauper daily yesterday with this deck. It is definitely a beastly deck in today's meta. With all of the 8 Post and Delver decks running around this deck is a very good choice and I'm surprised that more people aren't playing it.
I think prey upon should be mentioned for sideboard possibilities. A lot of recent lists i've seen run it and i feel its much more flexible than hornet sting despite the fact that you need a creature to play it. Great primer though, thanks!
I thought of this deck the other day. It's kind of a ripoff of Orb Elves with more emphasis on tutoring up Winter Orb. The point of the deck is to get out winter orb to shut down your opponent and then beat them down with Myr while using their mana to throw more disruption on top of the orb. This was mostly off the top of my head so I could use some help thinking of better cards to use.

This is my friend's deck that he built online. He's pretty new to the game (I just taught him how to play a few weeks ago) and he would like opinions on his deck. We play pretty casually and budget is very much an issue. Thank you
you could play firespout for its red half or street spasm if you're looking for something more expensive
