Face up cards on the board are free information. You can ask your opponent what land(s) they have and they have to tell you. Or position them in a way that would allow you to see for yourself. It's against the rules to attempt to conceal things like that.
For the second one, you have priority when your opponent casts a spell and the turn cannot continue until you pass priority back. Just ask them to speak up or back up if they didn't give you a chance to react. If they refuse, call a judge. If you're playing casually, don't play with them.
Nah you can send now. You basically have the money but since you're a new seller, paypal holds the money. Send with tracking though and once it's confirmed as delivered, the money will be released to you. Make absolute 100% sure you send with tracking, and require a signature if you're really that paranoid.
Some tips if you decide to give eBay another chance:
ALWAYS take pictures (scans if you can) of your cards. NEVER use stock photos. That way the condition is always clear.
First class shipping for a #000 bubble mailer with d/c is $1.69 and is the best way I've found to ship less than 40ish cards. I use it for singles and playsets mostly.
If you're exceedingly paranoid, get insurance to go along with d/c. I've performed almost 150 mtg related eBay transactions (buying and selling) and have never used insurance and never had anything go wrong (knock on wood).
I would take the cradle. Fetches are far more liquid which means you can pretty easily pick them back up if you decide you want them. Cradles for trade are much harder to come by, at least from what I've seen.
His:
Gaea's Cradle 138.00
Oblivion Stone 10.00
Liliana of the Veil 43.00
Total Value: 191
My:
flooded strand 70.00
polluted delta 89.00
City of Brass (foil) 25.00
Total Value: 184
Value wise its off a little, but I don't know if I want to trade my fetches (which could be reprinted) for a cradle (on the reserve list) and liliana (2nd best PW?) The Oblivion stone is for my RG Tron deck.
What do you guys think? I dont need the fetches or the cradle, but the fetches could be used in EDH decks.
Rubblebelt Raiders is good with Hammer of Purphoros and they both pump red devotion. Fanatic of Mogis probably isn't good enough, but I'm just brainstorming here. I've picked up a few playsets of Raiders just in case. They're cheap enough that a loss on them is hardly anything.
Thanks for the answers, guys. I was going to go to my local stores Friday morning anyway, but I wanted to ask so I know just how much to get my hopes up!
Hey all. I was wondering when big box stores (walmart, target, etc) get new magic products in stock relative to their actual release date. I have to look for places other than a LGS because of the two I could reasonably get to, one closed recently and the other is a price gouger. I'm mainly looking at the new Commander series which ships this Friday. Will the big box stores have them on their shelves Friday morning?
Where do you guys see the ceiling on Pack Rat? I picked some up during the GP coverage and was thinking about dumping them around $5, but they look pretty stable around $3 with playsets going for $12-$13 on eBay. Thoughts?
since gambit is such a cheap card, I went ahead and picked up a few playsets this past weekend, just in case. I've never had a cheap card I speculate on skyrocket, but that won't stop me from trying!
I'd call up all my local stores that sell singles and I'd also shoot an email to all the big online retailers (SCG, CFB, CK, etc). Most of them have bulk c/uc buy prices, but you have a good amount of non-bulk c/uc so maybe they'll cut a deal with you.

-printed in 3rd set of block
-unique mechanic not likely to be reprinted

personally I wouldn't go beyond 2-3 sets and I wouldn't spend money on them.

EDIT: Just saw they limit 2 per person. Might do this...
anyway, Innistrad is awesome to draft in addition to having chase rares/mythics in it. So yea, I'd go in on it.
Unless you're willing to wait 2-3 years I'd say it's at its short term peak. Sell.
Good luck!
