What about with Leyline of the Void? I'm pretty sure this works like the Helm/Leyline combo which I play all the time in Legacy, wins me an epic amount of games too.
I am so looking forward to Engineered Explosives-on-a-Dragon. There are some whispers that the Hellkite is the release promo as well...can anyone confirm/deny? If so, will have to go to that as well as the pre-re...
I don't know if he will be the release promo, but that would make be happy as he is my first pick for cards that I'm totally putting in my EDH deck. What do you think he will go for?
I always thought of it as a clever way of Niv Mizzet himself showing off his knowledge and his love for himself.
If you remember his back story, he's the super intelligent leader of the Izzet guild, and he's very into himself. He was also the only dragon in Ravnica that wasn't outright hunted because he was a beautiful, powerful, and intelligent leader.
His flavor text is meant to be a message to the people actually playing magic. When you turn a card 90° you are tapping the card, and only when you tap the card can you clearly make out that his name is spelled out within the parenthesis (with the exception of the "t"). If you look at the equation, it reads that (Z->)90° - (E-N2W)90°t = 1, meaning that "Niv Mizzet is number 1" as if he himself is saying he's number one, or "the best". It could also have reference to the fact that he deals 1 point of damage when tapped.
The fact that the equation could be put into a wicked awesome geometrical figure just makes it about a thousand times better.

There isn't a lot going on in the Gaea's Revenge. I haven't figured out what else to do with it, and I'm pretty open to ideas if anyone has any. I've also been working with keeping consistency with resizing... that hasn't been going well.
Wow Minmin, that Zodiac Dragon is beautiful. I love dragons, and when people do alters like that on one of them it's like it makes my heart happier then when I see the first ray of sunshine on a super gloomy day.
Here's an alter with a good back story. My boyfriend has a SUPER abused Tundra, in fact I think it was his first Dual land.

Anyway, he was using it in a UW Legacy Control Deck that he called "Eternal Blue" He named the deck after his favorite video game, and he asked me a long time ago to paint scenes from the game on different cards. His favorite scene from the game was supposed to be painted onto one of the lands.
Well, a short time pasted before he realized it was a bad deck and went back to playing Bant Thresh, which got me out of a lot of painting. The only two cards that were the same between his two decks are FoW, and that old ugly Tundra. Since he is STILL playing that Tundra, I decided to steal it last week and fix it up for him. And I did it by putting the final scene from the game he named the first deck after.
Here are some cards up for grabs, can you spot the theme?

But in all seriousness, those are all beautiful. I especially like the Selenia, it just looks so natural, like the card was printed like that all along.
@yawg: You have some magic ability to make Domo fit into every magic card somehow.
Awe man, there have been buckets of awesome on in the thread the last few days. I wish the was a smiley to represent just how many buckets I'm imagining. Since there isn't, I will ask a question instead.
@ffyouth: The Teneb is wonderful. I love seeing Dragons all prettied up, but I think the best part is just how nice the clouds look. Mine never come out looking that smooth.
Speaking of clouds, I tried fixing up the Baneslayer from earlier, The colors are a little better, I added to the dress, and tried to smooth is out a bit. It still looks better in person then in the scan though.
Once I finish scanning all of my old stuff with my new scanner I'm gonna post my new gallery in my signature. There's a lot of old alters I really can't wait to have nice scans of.

Why is this Lopunny not shiny? The land is shiny, so the Lopunny should be shiny. Shiny = BETTER!

I want this card more then I want to consume normal people food for the next three years. That is WAY more beautiful then normal Bayous.
