Yep, he will be on here in 20 years talking about how he used to just throw around commons and uncommons and how he once had 5 of those $500 uncommons and will point back to this pic as proof... Sad, my eyes hurt.
Maybe I'm just old, but if some "friend" kept bugging me, I'd let him know it.. real fast.. I'd be like "Yo, stop annoying me, I don't want to play. Call me about this crap again and you can forget about our friendship."
Y'all seem to go through a lot of trouble instead of just being point blank with the guy. Tell him to his face to quit, if he doesn't.. Take action.
That is true, seeing as CNET said something along the lines of Alpha product being ONE OF THE FIRST MTG sets.. I don't believe it's fake though..My thoughts are the same as AndersPMTG a couple posts up..Well, all except for his opening statement.
It says each shipment from TCG Player Direct is 1 entry. So if you buy one card, that's one entry.. If you buy 4 and they all ship in one order, that's also 1 entry.
So that Rishadan Port can do anything. No card that disrupted a player's mana base in any way short of actually removing the sources of mana would work if mana stayed in pools throughout a turn.
And it took Icy Manipulator out of the game for lands too. Every time I'd tap a land after the untap phase, my friend would tap his mana first as a fast effect and float the mana until he cast something. Glad for this rule change, but still miss mana burn.

As stated above, there was never a point in time where you could float mana during your upkeep phase into your main phase.
Well, back then we didn't even know there were defined stages of a turn... When you passed the turn, the opponent usually untapped and drew, not realizing there was a upkeep, untap, draw, main, ect... All I know is when I tried to use my Icy Manipulators after he untapped he just usually floated the mana.. I resorted to taking them out of my deck because of this.. In fact, at one of the first tournaments I attended.. circa late 1993, they even allowed this to happen. Oh well.

I tore up a Black Lotus at a local tourney in 1993 because someone harassed me too much about buying it off me for $50. So, that's one less Beta Lotus out there because of me
