Sundering Titan is the biggest one for me, I've been on the recieving end of such shenanigans and it has caused drama almost every time I have seen one hit the field
In your colors as well, Argothian Elder + Maze of Ith will give you infinite mana, but only during your combat phase. Still useful for instants and untapping all of your lands for main phase 2, though. I've busted out a few unexpected Chord of Callings using this method
Culling Dais, Perilous Forays are 2 sac outlets I greatly enjoy in my Savra deck. I think Glissa, the Traitor is worth running simply for the fact that shes an efficient 3/3 death touch beater, as well as a green and black creature - Your mimic vat probably won't survive long either and lots of creatures will be dieing to hit those triggers..
I run the Necrotic Ooze / Devoted Druid / Quillspike combo as well, but I am considering taking it out just because those cards could be filled with better single card threats and the combo is easily dismantled.
For 6 mana enchantments, I would much rather run Mana Reflection instead of Lurking Predators.
Instead of Primal Rage, there is the Gruul Land that can give creatures trample who's name is escaping me.. or Gruul War Plow.
You have a lot of fatties that could burn faces with Soul's Fire, also Lord of Extinction for an instant kill, Charnelhoard Wurm to get a card back, etc.. and you are in the colors to run Kresh the Bloodbraided and Hamletback Goliath which could further benefit from your cards that give trample / Mageslayer. I'm a cheesy player though, I just like those interactions
Here's my take on Black/Blue Sygg. Sygg's awesome because people usually don't want to waste removal on him, and in multiplayer games you can quite often draw cards on other people's turns.
Almost every card in this deck searches or creates massive card advantage, so most games follow the theme of generating lots of mana, finding cards that have incredible synergy, and drawing LOTS of cards.
If you're looking for cute interactions that fit the theme, Shuko would allow you to start making tokens with your general as soon as the upkeep of turn 4 and has the added benefit of looking like cat claws
Thought Gorger was a champ most of the time I saw him, and at 3 I saw him more or less when he was necessary.
He gets gradually worse every turn after four, though, and hits rock bottom as a topdeck but I think his strength is increasing the number of mandatory cards you need to keep a hand from 5 to 8 while applying a whole different amount of pressure than Hedron crab. There's also the shock value and generally people don't like it when a '☺☺☺☺ty dollar rare' is the thing holding them back from winning the game against you. There were a few times during the games I played too where a turn 4 8/8 Thought Gorger was a very nice deterrent to aggro decks, and with the help of a rat helped me stall out until turn 6/7 to combo off.
If you're going g/w, why not include the ranger of eos / vengevine engine? throw in some Noble Hierarchs and then you have a suitable amount of 1 drops to fetch out, and vengevine / your other 4 drops have the capability to come out on turn 3. 5/4 vengevine on turn 3 is pretty sick.
Nice breakdown m4ze. The maindeck bloodwitches seem like they'd improve some of the worst matchups for this deck (mythic for the most part). The one-of cryptologist seems odd though. I think given how much of a house bloodthrone was you might prefer a 5th sac outlet (vampire aristocrat).
Yeah, the cryptologist was a last minute throw-in because I had a free slot, and it did pull it's weight when it got out. I was interested in Sedraxis alchemist but it felt like too situational of a card to me considering how quickly our Hedron crabs eat removal spells.
I tried running with a singleton vampire aristocrat before, but when it came down to it 3 drops always felt awkward in this deck, because they would usually not come out turn 3 and by turn 4 I usually wanted to thought gorger, or play 2 creature spells for vengevine, or could often cheat out something better due to agadeem.. does that make sense? Just my personal experience with the deck.
tl;dr
the cryptologist worked nicely as an "imitation crab". There were many games where it dumped a bloodghast or vengevine in the yard and was key to getting the low cost creatures I needed to trigger vengevines as well.. would run more if I wasn't so concerned about the black creature count in the deck.
Looked legit enough though to be worth posting to see if anyone else had heard of these
"Jace, Master of Illusion" 1UU
"Chandra Redeemed" 3RR
"Garruk Untamed?" 1GG

Oh, Doomgape and Woodfall Primus are fun too!
Sword of Feast and Famine would work much more nicely instead of Body and Mind, it can also give you infinite attack phases with Hellkite Charger

Thrummingbird + Planeswalkers/Chalice/Trisks
Copious amounts of artifact mana + Rite of Replication / Profane Command
