I was going to make a Leovold, Emissary of Trest deck but once I saw the recent commander video from MTGGoldfish I started looking at things differently. I started my base on the decklist from the video and started tinkering with it to make it my own. Here is the end result.

Been awhile since i have been able to play magic. no current updates for this deck but i would like some help adding a few cards. I haven't been able to figure out a way to add these cards without jeopardizing the overall themes of the deck(Kor Tribal/Ally/Equipment [In that order]). Below are the four cards I wish to add because I think they can make the deck better while maintaining the casual/kitchen table level. So.. I am looking for suggestions for what should be cut (with reasons why please). Thanks.
I've found Armament Master can get out of hand fairly quickly/ Same goes for Munda's Vanguard in certain respects. I shied away from more traditional tribal cards and went more heavy with the equipment.
I have mistakenly overlooked Skullclamp. I hope to find some room for it and some other cards but space is at a premium at the moment and the deck is new so I will be testing some more to see what works and what doesn't....
I did look into having a partner but I decided against it as their are only four Kor creatures outside of Boros colors and they didn't really work well with how I wanted to the deck to be.
Just something that popped into my head while looking through Commander 2016 previews. Basically its a Kor Tribal deck with Equipment and Ally shenanigans. I went as flavorful as I could.
//THE DECK:
The deck itself plays fast and at often times reckless. It has the ability to cycle through itself at an absurd pace. Cheap creatures which can be pumped without investment into anthem cards helps a lot.
There hasn't been any changes made but added a Cards Being Considered section with some more Liliana flavor cards that I might be adding so feel free to make any suggestions and i will try to respond asap (that goes for my other threads as well).
I still haven't been able to play a lot which is why my other decks are in stasis so to speak. I am working on another casual deck list as well as two other competitive lists that should be finished soon. I probably won't have the decks finished but i can post the lists so everyone can take a look.
I got to play a bunch of games with my friends and again we talked about what we can do to make our decks better. When it came to Marath... Here are the changes.
We talked how my top end of my curve was getting a bit too big and there is no real reason Kiki-Jiki should still be in the deck and his removal allows me to cut the number of Mountains I was using in half. I have also started to dislike creature ramp unless it can grab a land and puts it into play (mostly due to a lot of wrath cards my friend and people at my LGS play).
And I have decided to go with a Aggro/Combo/Control style deck like my Grimgrin deck is. As such I decided to add Kismet to the deck (over Blind Obedience due to the fact it hits lands). Knight of the Reliquary takes its rightful place in the deck at last and Mana Reflection makes it way back in as I often found myself missing/needing its effect when I have Gaea's Cradle and/or Serra's Sanctum in play.
We also discussed Nature's Lore over Kodama's Reach and I decided to stay with Kodama's Reach for the time being.
Like I said Mana Crypt may return to Sol Ring depending how it preforms, I just happen to have a one lying around after I dismantled a deck I no longer wish to play. So I want to test it out. I have found that its just a matter when you play it (which I guess holds true for any card).
I will have to test Nature's Lore as I have never thought of using it as I chose to run Farseek instead... But it never crossed my mind to try both. I will test it out and see how it goes.
I have yet to find space for Knight of the Reliquary, but once I do he's in as previous testing with him turned out really well, and now that I am starting this league soon the faster this deck is the better (I may cut Kodama's Reach for it rendering the whole Kodama's Reach/Nature's Lore thing moot). I will take another long look at things when I find more time as I am typing this while at work :wink:.
So I found out my local game store is starting a Commander League and I would like my Marath deck to be my main deck. Ergo the following changes have been made.
I most probably will stay with Grimgrin for more competitive environments. Mind you i haven't finished building this deck yet (but luckily i keep most of my decks in the same type of sleeves so can i use cards from Grimgrin i don't have extra copies of). and i will have to complete/test a little bit when i find time.

At first glance i would consider adding Grave Titan, Ashnod's Altar, and Eldrazi Monument.
If you want an infinite combo also consider Nim Deathmantle to go with Grave Titan and Ashnod's Altar. Also Cloudstone Curio is nuts with Rooftop Storm but again leads to more infinite combos. Bottom line is that it is your deck so play what you find fun.

Depending how it turns out Sol Ring and Mana Reflection might be swapped in/out for Mana Crypt and Mirari's Wake.
Dragonlord Dromoka is another Grand Abolisher like effect that can lay on some mid/later game beats
Mana Crypt makes the deck much faster and gives me a chance to cast turn one Cultivate/Kodama's Reach
Earthcraft and Mana Echoes are pretty self explanatory.
Kodama's Reach I always find myself needing more mana so it goes back in (probably shouldn't have removed it anyways).
Triumph just wins games outright
