In an M15 draft game last night, managed to make 8 1/1 flying deathtouch creatures, and a 17/17 Underground Scavenger
Also in that draft, I was right up against it and had only 5 cards left in my library with no action to win and potentially going to die to damage. I topdecked Liliana Vess, -2'd to find one of a pair of Covenant of Blood to stay alive by killing an attacker.
The next turn I -2 Liliana Vess to get my Gravedigger, which I cast and get back Soul of Innistrad. 3 Cards left in library.
The next turn I attack for a bunch and get back three creatures and cast two three drops. I win the next turn with 1 card left in my library.
We tended to win on turns 6-8 while we were on 40 life, winning by attacking with a hasty Siege Dragon with Spectra Ward on it after they'd had to use removal on stopping the 6/6 or bigger Ajani's Pridemate.
We cannot kill the opponent on our next turn given any combination of blocks where we die doesn't leave us getting enough damage through.
We therefore have to kill the Pheres-Band Raiders before it poops out another 3/3
I would block so that:
Trade bestowed Oreskos 2/2 (5/5) with the Pheres-Band Centaurs (5/5)
Block the 4/4 snake with the Chimera
Trade Ornitharch with a 3/3 centaur
Take 3 damage from the final centaur to go to 4. You can alternatively not have the Ornitharch die and go to 1, which is a slightly faster way to die to a pump spell or mountain + burn than if you stay at 4 and they have pump or burn.
Versus:
Two 3/3 centaurs (one tapped, one untapped)
4/4 Snake (tapped)
2/1 Satyr Hedonist (untapped)
Vaporkin isn't blocking any time soon, so send it in and our opponent is at 9. If you still have the ornitharch, and they have a 3/3, I'd keep ornitharch back.
Their next turn:
They can attack with everything if they want, but that leaves them with a dead centaur and a dead snake and us at 2 life if they have nothing, and then we're sweet. (Heliod blocks snake, Chimera block two centaurs and Dauntless Onslaught pumps both). Regardless of whether we eat their creatures or not, Vaporkin can keep potting them for two a turn. If you kept the ornitharch here, still potential to eat attackers if they attack.
Eventually they'll probably draw a red source and just kill you, but hey, may as well play to survive as long as possible!
queengothica13: note that these are the intro pack rares, which are generally chosen to appeal to the casual crowd, rather than being tournament playables.
Blue seems really strong -there's plenty of reasonable fliers that should be great in the context of this cube, plus some control magics, and limited favourites like Vedalken Dismisser and Voidwielder.
OhDaisy: My first three picks once were Sorin, Lingering Souls, Lingering Souls. I did not lose.
On topic, that's totally a misclick. If it wasn't online, it would be a total new player who only likes black cards or something like that - I have been passed Voice of Resurgence because a player had no idea it was worth money and doesn't like green or white cards.
I mostly read rather than post here, but I have to say, the discussion on here is of exemplary standard compared to, well, the internet.
I don't mind people coming in and making posts where they're super attached to their deck that isn't so flash, or they loudly proclaim their undying love for cards like Nourish because, well, they're going to learn things. And I'll probably be learning things too. It might get a bit tedious to reply to that at times I guess, but there's plenty of higher level discussion in here too.
Also, by posting in this thread, I'm totally letting the GP/Pro Tour heroes thing down, having won maybe 10 drafts ever. (My record at GPs is 1-3...)
So it's a land that allows you to play 1 extra bear in your deck, and that bear is highly unlikely to die to sorcery speed removal. I'd say that's basically an always play.
I played two in a deck once where I had 2 Feral Animist, Cloudfin Raptor, 2 Fluxcharger, 2 Nivix Cyclops and some sundry evasive creatures and a can't block/evasion effect or two to help get the Animist through.
In all other drafts it has not made the cut, and I would need to be a bit short of action and be playing super aggro where a 2 mana condition Lava Axe is good, or have a lot of interactions in order for it to make my main deck.

In the 2 headed giant though, my team had a monster pool. I got to play this:
2 Elvish Mystic
1 Generator Servant
2 Borderland Marauder
1 Altac Bloodseeker
1 Hornet Nest
2 Netcaster Spider
1 Reclamation Sage
2 Soul of Shandalar
1 Siege Dragon
3 Siege Wurm
3 Lightning Strike
2 Verdant Haven
1 Nissa, Worldwaker
1 Heat Ray
Lands
2 Evolving Wilds
8 Forest
7 Mountain
Not to be outdone, my teammate had this sweet pile of synergy:
4 Oreskos Swiftclaw
3 Ajani's Pridemate
2 Child of Night
1 Sungrace Pegasus
1 Soul of Theros
1 Resolute Archangel
1 Raise the Alarm
1 Ephemeral Shields
2 Divine Favor
1 Devouring Light
1 Stab Wound
1 Solemn Offering
1 Inspired Charge
1 Spectra Ward
1 Liliana Vess
1 Triplicate Spirits
3 Radiant Fountain
4 Swamp
10 Plains

Alas, we won too quickly for me to Heat Ray for 7+ targeting my Hornet Nest
We therefore have to kill the Pheres-Band Raiders before it poops out another 3/3

On my turn I now have:
Heliod's Emissary (3/3)
Coastline Chimera (1/5)
Vaporkin (2/1)
Versus:
Two 3/3 centaurs (one tapped, one untapped)
4/4 Snake (tapped)

Psuedofate recommends red, that seemed good.
My one draft deck in BBB was very good, mostly because it had 5 Loyal Pegasus. I recommend getting as many as possible.
