Where did they all go? There are few listings in online stores and eBay. Even at worlds there was only one played one for 120. Any suggestions on where to pick one up?
This is hugely overstated. The actual number of active judges in the world is right around 2000.

It is a summer mailing like the DCI Dark Ritual and will not be given out in future pro tours. That makes it pretty rare. However the more valuable promos like Maze of Ith are valuable because there are no original foil versions. It's value will most likely fall close to the english foil which is 70-90.
Hello, a random question. I just sold some cards to strikezone for the first time. I usually buy or a combination of buy and trade in some cards. Bidwicket sent an email saying the transaction was completed and credit was issued. My concern is I do not have an account with them, instead I usually do individual orders. There is no paypal payment either. So do they usually issue payment a week later or should I contact them?
Could there be Dark Confidant reprint here? Doesn't fit name / theme but would be a good time too get some out before Modern format is revealed fully. Maybe even in one of the Innistrad blocks?
they just printed judge promos of Bob so it's unlikely.
Thank you for the info. In addition, thank you to all judges for the hard work at events. Regarding compensation, I get the impression most do it for love of the game. the promo's are simply a perk.
To any of the judges out there. did you get a playset of Dark confidant or is it one per judge? I don't see any playsets available online. Thanks in advance.
These are real, my graphic designer eyes tell you so.
Amen, They just seem right, but hey it's drowned out by a sea of folks who only see the collector number. Like Clan Iraq said they push the design space of planeswalkers. It's great that they synergize with a decks strategy while not being the strategy itself.
It has cool art and can be added to ANY EDH deck, affects nonbasics like reflecting pool or filter lands. I will be picking up as many foil english/foreign as I can.
probably not. The value of most sets will eventually lie with 5-12 cards and the rest will be junk. Overall your probably better getting the stuff you like.
I have a sneaking suspicion that I'll come to salvation one day in late may or june, click the M12 spoiler list and see 'Jace The Mind Sculptor' with a link to a 300-page discussion thread. Because of that, I'm thinking it'd be better to sell sooner than later.
this scenario seems unlikely. He has been sculpting the standard meta for over a year. Why would they extend his tenure another year. All he will do is crowd out the strategies wizards has designed for the innistrad block.
Yeah, its not a legacy staple, that doesnt really matter though. We are talking about the foil version not the regular. These are not the same thing people. There are plenty of cards where the regular and foil have absolutely no relation in price (Karmic Guide, High Market, etc). Jace2 is going to be one of those cards. If you think they will print him again in a foil form I would get rid of him, if not then no you shouldn't.
Well said. An important thing to note is the market for pimp foils is smaller, as in fewer people will pay 50+ dollars for a foil karmic guide or others. In addition the market seems to be more volatile than non foils due to the smaller pool of collectors.
Wow. Sorin and Gideon confirmed for M12 (which is just pure awesome in my opinion, Gideon > Ajani), and nobody has jumped in with the conclusion that Jace2 will be reprinted in the core set alongside them? I for one would enjoy another year of playing my Jaces
On topic, though, the commander cards are pretty cool, the UR one could spawn a pretty cool deck.
Thats not true. the art you re referring to is duels of the planeswalkers 2012 not m12. I don't think they want to extend jace's tenure in standard from 2 to 3 years.
