is Tribal no longer a card type? are we sure “Battle” isn’t a mistranslation? i know it’s unlikely because idk how “batalla” could possibly translate to “tribal”, but it seems conspicuous to me.
Other Spanish-language Tribals use "tribal", so this isn't a mistranslation. Tribal is still a card type (and will have to remain so unless they find another way to give creature types to noncreature cards, if they even want to do that anymore), but not one they're currently supporting (apart from Altar of the Goyf, but Modern Horizon sets are weird that waty) so they probably feel they can leave it out of reminder text. Text that says "these are some card types", not "these are all card types", by the way. Futureproofing but not pastproofing, apparently.
Nahiri is going to survive. She will be the key to reopen the moon on Innistrad and redirect Emrakul to New Phyrexia
plus she will be forced to cooperate with Sorin again.
Sign me up. I am completely for a Phyrexian vs. Eldrazi all out brawl for control of the multiverse.
Only problem I have with that is that I wouldn't want either of those sides to lose!
As a huge fan of Futureshifts I'm not complaining, but damn is that Japanese Tarmogoyf jarring among those retro promos. (Seriously, though, can we one day do for Futureshifts what we're doing now with retro frames? Thanks in advance.)
Also, Mishra's a beast, and not even that hard to meld.
It may be shocking to hear someone with my reputation agree that the old frames are average at best (and that the gold frames are the worst of them), but I'd take anything - literally anything - over the eyeblights that are the modern frames.
But anyway - sure wasn't expecting meld in this set. I approve.
If they end up sacrificing a plane, I think Zendikar would be a good choice. It's popular, but the plane has mostly served its purpose and feels a bit aimless ATM. Its creative and mechanical themes can fairly easily be repeated on other worlds.
You know, what they said about the new Ixalan set did sound quite a bit like Zendikar to me...
What I find interesting is that the sets didn't actually reveal whether or not Phyrexia will win. At this point it could still go either way. The "Aftermath" set and logo seem a little bit more foreboding and sinister than a victory would imply. The phyrexian symbol isn't broken, but instead glows and extends cracks throughout the rest of the words.
While I can't really see there being an outright victory for Phyrexia, I could see the conflict ending in a stalemate or truce. Seems like something Urabrask would be game for if the other praetors wee disposed of. Makes it easier for the Phyrexians to be a recurring villain later, if needs be. We'll see, I guess.

Argentum Masticore
Karumonix, the Rat King
Malcator, Purity Overseer
Or she's cosplaying Wayne from Hylics...

[EDIT]Wooo, 1000 posts!

No, the acorn stamps are the ones that aren't eternal-legal. An acorn stamp is equivalent to a silver border.
