That combo actually seems insane to add and I'm not sure why I didn't think of it. Right now I do have Sphinx taken out, and my It That Betrays in the deck as well. I'm iffy on the brutalizer exarch, but he's there primarily to deal with main deck planeswalkers and other stuff like that, Think taking him out would make better room and I can leave him in the board?
As for the Druid+Vizier combo, should I run 4 each in deck? I assume so, they're just so good together.
Hey there guys! A long while back I played a deck in standard that used Overgrown Battlements, Summoning trap, and Big creatures (Emrakul, Iona, etc) and I was hoping to kind of recreate this in modern. Here's a working list that I'm testing with, and I'm trying to keep this a little more budget - Though of course I'll upgrade as needed down the line.
Now I'm having mild success here and there, but how would one improve upon this? I realize this isn't the most ideal build but I think it might be able to go places. What do you guys think? Trying to do too much with not good enough legs? Not worth trying to do over the generic tron builds?
Firestorm I found is great against the Jund/Stoneblade meta here, though that's not the ENTIRE meta. What exactly do we sideboard against Sneak and Show as well? Do we just try to race them?
I'm using this list (essentially netdecked, but you know hey w/e) and I was trying to think of a good SB for this against a heavy Stoneblade meta with some reanimator and delver decks. I was thinking:
Just a quick question for future reference, If I control Vigor and 3 other creatures (Or any amount) and someone deals 7 damage to all creatures, do the other creatures get the Counters from Vigor's Ability? This occured in an EDH game I played and we went with Yes for the time being but I would like to know an official ruling on the subject.
I'm thinking more 2 more Ponders and one less Opt, or just 2 more Ponders and one less Island. Opt just works so well with Wee Dragonauts and digging in general since it's basically " Scry one, Draw a card"
seems like a very fun list you have put together, can only think of a few suggestions that are on theme:
+Voice of the Woods - seems like you can get an army of 7/7s pretty easily, but this might just be win more
-Terror +Beast Within replace an inflexible removal, with the most flexible removal
+Liliana's Caress - Megrim #2, can't be prevented, but can't kill planeswalkers.... lower converted mana cost
-Darksteel Colossus +Blightsteel Colossus - 1 swing win vs 4 swing win, and you have Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon so it's not a total deviation
-Hex - personal opinion, 6 targetable creatures my opponent's control, almost never happens, i'd rather wrath.... gets worse the fewer players there are... a LOT worse
+Scepter of Fugue - destroys control decks, and adds more tokens with your general
+Anvil of Bogardan - gives you a discard trigger each turn, but also lets opponents loot every turn.... trade-offs i guess
+Regal Force - every green based token deck needs this!
Did some changes, most recently taking your opinion on Hex and replacing with Plague Wind! however a lot of the other items got taken out for just overall good stuff that I didn't know I missed-
-Megrim +Priest of Titania
-Hex +Plague Wind
-Terror +Slaughter Pact
Currently still tweaking slightly and debating some other choices!
Just thought I'd share my latest Nath creation, EDH Nath of the Gilt Leaf, or Nath of the Guilty Gear as I like to call it.
Based slightly around the interactions of Nath's ridiculous ability and slightly around the creature Tutor/Reanimation abilities of the Golgari colors, the deck is a bit more than " Let opponent have no hand ever". It has the win condition of that and Elves of course, but also with the toolkit of Fauna Shaman, Jarad, Elvish Piper, and big creatures FOR Jarad fodder. this combined with reanimation spells like Beacon of Unrest and Zombify allow for single turn massive damage.
Oh, there's a small mana ramp portion of the deck that allows for game winning drops, like Genesis Wave. Elvish Archdruid and Heritage Druid help with this a good amount.
Hooo boy Iit's been a while. After looking through quite a bit of pages (at least 500 by now) I'll post some recent alters that I did. None of them are near as good as some of the recent ones though, nice to see familiar faces still posting along with new ones.
Both the elves are obviously inspired by bigup and the Wave is just my imagining of what would be extended art of the original artist.
whew, long breaks and vacations and such call for a rereading of this thread! I'm stunned at all the alters here, especially The M.C. Escher Maze of Ith a while back.
and @Pesty
If that was your first alter, I can't wait to see ya get better, thats WAY Better than some other first alters I've seen
and especially @Nuvo
those ravagers just look better adn better, cant wait to get em in person!
I think I may have finally solved my pen issue! I spent forever bouncing from brand to brand of names I'd never even heard of before, looking for a pen I was happy with. Suddenly, there, like a beacon of holy light! A name I can trust. PRISMACOLOR MAKES PENS NOW. I've always loved me some prisma, and they make good stuff. I can't vouch for the sakura pens that yawg and klug use, but I've used pretty much every brand Michaels sells and the prismas feel more durable, and don't clog nearly as quickly. I think I'm in love.
I looked at it, and I instantly heard "RAVAGE." In my head. I love it.
Woah! Thanks for the help a ton!

2 Artisan of Kozilek
1 Brutalizer Exarch
1 Thragtusk
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
1 Iona, Shield of Emeria
1 Sphinx of the Steel Wind
4 Oblivion Ring
4 Summoning Trap
2 Ancient Stirrings
Lands
2 Stirring Wildwood
4 Canopy Vista
4 Eldrazi Temple
4 Sunpetal Grove
2 Forest
2 Plains
1 Ghost Quarter
4 Windswept Heath
3 Acidic Slime
2 Eidolon of Rhetoric

3 Reclamation Sage
3 Tormod's Crypt
1 Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
Now I'm having mild success here and there, but how would one improve upon this? I realize this isn't the most ideal build but I think it might be able to go places. What do you guys think? Trying to do too much with not good enough legs? Not worth trying to do over the generic tron builds?
I saw another dredge deck running PainterStone sideboard too which I thought was pretty funny. So I have my second sideboard list here:
3x Chain of Vapor
3x Firestorm
3x Leyline of the Void
1x Iona
1x Elesh Norn,Grand Cenobyte
Firestorm I found is great against the Jund/Stoneblade meta here, though that's not the ENTIRE meta. What exactly do we sideboard against Sneak and Show as well? Do we just try to race them?
I'm using this list (essentially netdecked, but you know hey w/e) and I was trying to think of a good SB for this against a heavy Stoneblade meta with some reanimator and delver decks. I was thinking:
1x Dread Return
1x Iona, Shield of Emeria
4x Chain of Vapor
3x Krosan Grip
2x Natures Claim
3x Tormods Crypt/Leyline of the Void ( for mirror/reanimator)
Anyone have any pointers?
4x Delver of Secrets
4x Wee Dragonauts
Spells:
4x Lightning Bolt
4x Burst Lightning
4x Spark Jolt
4x Counterspell
4x Mana Leak
4x Daze
4x Preordain
2x Ponder
3x Opt
1x Halimar Depths
9x Islands
9x Mountains
I'm thinking more 2 more Ponders and one less Opt, or just 2 more Ponders and one less Island. Opt just works so well with Wee Dragonauts and digging in general since it's basically " Scry one, Draw a card"
What do you all think?

Both the elves are obviously inspired by bigup and the Wave is just my imagining of what would be extended art of the original artist.
I'm having a blast so far, Engineer was my first class I made and...well....I can't play any other classes since they feel so boring.

I want this. Now. So bad. BlackRockShooter has to be one of my favorite animes ever.
