Most of those invitational cards are actually quite broken, too broken IMO, also quite boring.
The only card that I kinda liked was Dark Evolver, which, in fact, is very broken too. Sacred foundry turn 1 and then a swamp, and you have a 4/3 hasted, spirit linked for 2 mana, yikes!
Can't they do anything else other than powerful card-drawers or tutors, now they made them on cheap sticks too... so sad
Actually I would be proud to see herder in Germany. He can enjoy lots of stuff there for sure (tasty beer, girls and studies :p). Maybe we could make some sort of show about it "Kon's Germany Journey". It'll be better than the OC or 24
Well on other good news, the economic problem here seems to be coming to an end and things are starting to look good (dances with joy). Although time got wasted pretty bad and my semester got bumped a little, at least this is a relief from all the violence and protests going around.
Favorite dish?? Hmm that's a hard one, but I really like T-bone steaks with fries and provenzal rice, and some chocolate ice cream to top it off. YUUUMMM I want some now.
Advanced English (shudders), I'm still waiting for the results of my advanced placement exam
Well, our economy got downgraded yesterday to crap, how's that for a living.
On the bright side, today's the ceremony for the ward I want (crosses fingers), It's gonna be great, there's gona be famous artists and stuff, I can't wait. Well I should get ready, I'm hoping for the best. Se you guys later.
Hydro nice to see you back man, hope you post back soon
The Dissention novel, well, it was very interesting to say the least, even after reading the summary I want to buy the novel. Many guys die there, it actually proved that Vig and Augustin are more evil than Rakdos, which is very interesting.
Shady & Herder: I'll join you guys on finding it sorta hard too, it's like a tongue twister
Kris: Thanks for your support, I kinda need it now that I'm starting to lose hope for a solution any time today That only means that we're gonna get closed and won't be able to do the loan necessary to stop this anymore.
Shady: Yay! I've been waiting eagerly to see what happens in Dissention
Most Simic cards are underrated IMO: Plaxcaster Frogling, Aquastrand Spider, Plaxmanta, Guildmage, etc. Theyre all better than what people think and they play out nicely together. Azorious First Wing is pretty underrated too, it does dodge Seal of Fire. Rakdos Augermage is also pretty underrated, but not much.
The only Rakdos deck I've seen to play out nicely was a Aggro/control variant that didn't play hellbent. It was pretty good and stable. Dissention doesn't seem to bring any straight aggro decks that can compete heavily, but we're still a few days away to see what a 10-guild format will bring
I'm pretty sure Aaron nailed it right with that comment, with sch an open format just about any deck can sneak in unnotice and win a tournament. It's like that, currently UW decks are going quite unnoticed (compared to all the hype about rakdos decks), I'm also pretty sure someone will break a Simic deck at any moment (graft can be a very strong ability when played right, just look open into other creature that use counters like Kudsu and ideas pop in)
The zoo card is pretty much that, a nice Zoo card, nothing much there, except it could be major beats if it were real.
Shady: heh, now noobs are invading Ask Wizards as well
Not much to talk about, except Mike Flores talk about Azorious sounds a lot like my aggro-control deck I made 3 days ago :(. Oh well, haven't even played it that much. I do agree, azorious guilamge is da bomb.
This has been one of the longest weeks of my life damn it. The economic problem plus my awaiting result of the accreditation exams, scholarships and prizes, plus the graduation have made me very anxious this week. I don't think I've ever lurked so much at the mailman before, or watched the news so much.
Things haven't gotten any better here :(, it's in fact, little worse, but I'm still hopefull.
Anyways: I just saw a report of a strong earthquake in the Pacific, there was a tsunami warning for a while but it got cancelled, a bit relieving. i wonder how Hydro is doing?
Shady: You should start believing, not sure if fate is real, but at least it makes you believe in something
I don't really feel like posting in moments like these. People are running in the streets, shouting and stuff. Everywhere is the same thing, same news. I feel like if this were some sort of civil war.
you can see the news on yahoo world news, can't paste the link because I'm currently on a pc that doesn't permit pasting.
These precons really aren't that bad. Compare these to the GP precons, which also got a bad rap because only the BW precon was actually worth some. This is somewhat similar, and if you look at the decks closely, some decks have up to 10 cards that are playable in a way.
hehe the old art, the angel looked a little funky for a card. The avatar looks much better, it kinda has a more doom feeling than a mocking feeling the other one has
(though that's gonna change when the new Wendy's opens up)
Rick: Have you tried some antibiotics to calm it, they say honey is also good for throat problems.

Overrated: Cytoplast Manipulator, Gobhobbler Rats, Shielding Plax
Pouk: Rick still can't defeat your monstrous spamming powers
I guess all the other members are away...
EDIT: yay 700 posts, getting closer to the lucky sevens
Shady: Sex won't work here, guess I'll just have to stick to the closest thing (self pleasure), Some magicwouldn't harm either
Shady: heh, now noobs are invading Ask Wizards as well
