Lets pretend there was a real life copycat of "Jigsaw", the villain from saw. Is he justified? Would people start living their lives to a fuller extent thinking that if they didn't they would find themselves in a room with a chopstick and a TV constantly running MTV reality shows? Would some view him as a hero?

I think I agree with the character's intent (the method is another story). I believe people today (in richer countries anyways) have a hard time with the smallest problems and that ends up pushing them over the edge. They're not used to the amount of suffering people in other countries are used to. The things we worry about are scratches on our cars, what others might think about us, what 5lbs difference in weight looks like, report cards, etc. When someone lets all those things pile up or they get hit by something big like the death of a loved one, they tend to break down. People who have to deal with death, disease and human suffering at their doorstep seem to handle it better.

The more this country (the US) evolves, it seems more things are censored and kept from public view so we can go about pretending that suffering doesn't exist. We can just galavant about in our happy little lives. If we continue what we are doing, will we find what we seek by evolving into a society free of suffering, or will we lose touch with the very definition of life?

We have minds for a reason. Everything we learn in this life we apply to the next thing. If this is a hallucination, my reaction would be to say bravo to the cause of such an elaborate fabrication of life (therefor respecting it and "rolling with the punches"). I'm just along for the ride. Smile

Example: I take out a .45 caliber handgun and shoot you in the chest, dead center, right thru the heart. Now will yourself to live.
Indeed. Threads like these can easily become a "what's love" thread. It all depends on the person's view. If you do believe in free will, you're probably just an optimistic person. If you don't, perhaps you're cautious about making a solid determination on such subjects. Thinking about it sure does stir up an endless entourage of questions and answers that spawn more questions... so to avoid all that, I'll just say I don't believe in it since my free will allows me to do so.

I would have to agree with RafaelK on the fact that its probably a bit to late for the new people. Also, it just seems the game is getting worse and worse. When the last expansion came out, I decided that it would be the one thing that would make or break WoW for me. I was pretty disappointed. I'm a huge player vs player fan and the PvP content was very lacking. So I quit a while ago and now my friends are saying the same thing about the upcoming expansion that I said about the last one.

I was going to wait for WAR to come out and play that instead due to their promises of great PvP, but I think I'm done with MMO's. Its about time I do something a little more productive with my life. :/

Either way, though, I still had some good times playing the game and all, and you get to meet and socialize with some interesting people if you're lucky or know where to look. Have fun killing stuff. Smile

@ Evion - Heh, found out later that I indeed had a day to work with this deck. :p I just remember busting out of bed thinking "omg I need to make a deck." U control is very heavy on my mind. Not only that, but Soltari Priests just laugh at me (plus any other little pro red weenies).

@ Tigerballs - Yeah, I've come to the conclusion that it does indeed need a splash. Cool thing is, I can pretty much go in any direction as far as color goes. Only bad thing is I don't have the duels, but I think someone can spot me.

@ Happybounce - lol! Vampire Link is retardedly awesome. That alone just makes me want to dig through and see what I have for black. :p Null Profusion will be an interesting addition as well.

@ Jeff_vandenberg - Loxodon Warhammer has crossed my mind. They'll probably make it in there tbh. And yeah, its a bit slow. I'm either gonna have to speed it up or throw in a bunch more control to even out the late game because every time I find myself having to risk throwing something out early or wait till I have something good and have to worry about their answers. I have gotten a turn 3 kill with this deck, but it's very seldom that easy. Frown

@ Athan_Menel - Might not go with green, but I'll take a look to see what I have. The twister would work out great. Probably would keep the goblin though as long as I'm using pyro and the Hellion (works great for a mana sink for braid of fire as well).

@ SengirVampire - Heh, yup. Threw in Volcanic Awakening and Lotus Bloom. Shivan Wumpus crossed my mind as well and would make a great addition but only if I stick with the LD. At this point, I might just make a frenzy/gargadon deck with wumpus and LD thrown in there for kicks and getting rid of stuffy doll all together.

Gonna be playin this for tonights FNM so give me a quick critiqoo on what you think this deck needs.

20 land (probably just streight up mountain)
    4 Browbeat
    4 Stuffy Doll
    4 Pyrohemia
    1 Demon Fire
    4 Shivan Meteor
    4 Simian Spirit Guide
    2 Braid of Fire
    4 Rite of Flame
    4 Seething Song
    2 Boom/Bust
    2 Wildfire
    3 Volcano Hellion
    4 Thick Skinned Goblin

The count is two over right now. I've been thinking of probably putting in the storming LD spell. The reason for LD is that pyrohemia and stuffy (as well as a few other key elements for stuffy burn) is because it seemed to be a tough matchup against control so in turn i decided just to make this mass LD. I have enough mana acceleration to not have to worry about my own lands biting it. Any thoughts?

Hey, this might seem like a really odd question, but if there is any sort of ruling that could throw me a bone here, that would be sweet.

Yesturday I played an FNM and got third. Pretty sweet since it was just a deck my friend and I threw together on the fly. As a result, I got three packs. Afterwards, we had a draft. I figured why not so I traded in my two non-Time Spiral packs for two Time Spiral. My first pack, Akroma. In my second, Magus of the Scroll. Pretty sweet deal. Well, apperently half way through the game (as I cuveted my pretty sweet drafted cards) someone said to me that at the end of the tournament they would re-draft the rares. Not knowing this, I made a purely fun draft deck. I'm not sure if this was decided apon after I got the Akroma or not. Also, they said that I "agreed" to this which I most certainly did not. I hate drafting and I would have kept the three packs even before I knew what was in them. So yeah, I said goodbye to all the cards I had earned during that first tornament. Is there anything I can do at this point? This is not the first time I've been cheated out of something by this particular shop (a ruling during a T2 torney where the judge allowed my opponent to stack a mana ability).

Heh, interesting. I actually know of a kid who's mother, though very christian, allows her son to play under one stipulation; that he doesn't play black.

Oh, and if Jesus played magic, he would play 59 mountains and a fireball and win.

WoW has major appeal to even casual gamers because there are so many people, the interface is so easy to learn, and the stylized graphics are very inviting.
:/ The reason I kinda hate MMORPGs anyways is because unless you're playing hardcore, you just suck. I would have murdered myself if I had to PvP with blues and greens and all I did was run Blackrock Spire all the time. Granted I have PvPed in blues and greens, you just can't shine when teir 1 warriors two shot you. That's just my fault I guess. I don't think I would ever be able to play an MMO casualy, I just like winning too much and it becomes a time sink (which is why I'm currently not playing anymore).

    Quote from Erasmus
What games are you talking about? There's several games for each series that you could be talking about. I'm assuming the MMO's, in which case I think Warcraft will retain the majority of the market share. Burning Crusade should keep people who want to play interested.
Heh, sorry Erasmus. Yes, this is about the MMOs.

One of the arguments my friend has is that he believes that Warcraft is just an MMO now rather then an MMORPG. He said that the latest changes to the honor system and different additions to enhance PvP are really tacked on and thinks the story line just doesn't matter anymore. But hey, this kid really loves Warhammer and currently plays the 40k RTS as well as the table top games religiously.

Another friend of mine who still plays Warcraft loves the upcomming changes. He said that Warhammer will end up just like DDO when it came out. There are just too many people who have gotten into the game and it has gained so much momentom that he doesn't think Warcraft will be overlooked for quite a while.

I, on the other hand, got tired of Warcraft and look forward to Warhammer (don't get me wrong, Warcraft is a good game and I will one day grow tired of Warhammer). Their promise of non-stop world PvP is something that Blizzard couldn't back up. Infact, they discouraged it. I could see a lot of old school PvP players from back in the day of TM vs SS battles switching over to Warhammer. People who are also interested in a lot of lore can find a nice home in Warhammer. I think it all comes down to the combat system because Blizzard did a fantastic job and it's going to be very hard to top. I've seen few E3 movies showing off the Warhammer system and it looks great, but until I get the chance to fully explore it, I'm not holding my breath.

I also agree with people saying it should have been 40k. In that case, I think they could have cornered the sci fi market like Warcraft has cornered the middle earth market. I half expect 40k and World of Starcraft to be fighting each other for market supremacy one day. :p

I'm hearing a lot of good things about Warhammer. Hardcore table top players who play/have played Warcraft have already signed their souls away to the combined might that is Mythic (maker of Dark Age of Camelot) and Electronic Arts (recently bought out Mythic). Warcraft, on the other hand, has a lot of momentum in their favor and their content is growing by the day. Their legendary combat system is what keeps most people playing it along with the fact that may have a lot invested in their characters.

    Any thoughts?

The morph ability does not use the stack meaning it can't be countered. You would need to counter it when it comes into play as a 2/2.

How new is the iPod? I believe they replace broken parts for a year after buying it (2 years with some package deal). Also check the site. I'm think they have a FAQ troubleshooting and support section of some sort.
