Aerron- Spidersilks are there cuz of the 4 master. Keeps him out of fallout clasm range which in turn keeps the rest of the kors out of that range. The others suggested like harms way combat the same topic. I can see path and safe passage here tho. Thanks.
GoldenJ- The equipment is set up 2 drop the equips for free mostly on armament masters after playing him and being able to pay the mana equip costs. once safe from burn, the utility equips come in to play, finishing out the game with the other kors.
Tiger- I dont like the idea of mainboarding all 4 sanctifiers. I dont need the enchantment destruction THAT bad. The deck seems to be able to pull off a victory by mid game so the pledges dont seem to fit either. The equips also seem like more than an honor the pure on my board if even if its only a bone saw or spidersilk on a master.
Its just all for the quickest win possible. Anyone else have any ideas based on this idea?
I am currently runing only a UW allies and it seems pretty solid in testing. Just seems to need that extra umph in it to make it tier one. I thought maybe you might know what that would be....?
On a side note, how do u get the mana symbols to appear on the side of ur deck link in ur sig. everytime i do a mana tag wrap my link just goes all code crazy.
I tried to think of the simplest deck to build for a new player and the only thing that came to mind aside from and expensive U/G Landfall deck was Kors. I have no testing with this deck currently as I am playing allies for the time being but this community has helped me to success with it's thoughts and brilliant ideas before, so let's see if we can do it again.
h4mx0r-mark of asylum would work. As far as narrow escape is concerned, I think that if on T2 i drop a blademaster, if i was forced to go second they'd be able 2 throw falloutas a response to my T3 ally 2 pump it. So it would wipe my board. I also wouldnt be able to have any open mana for escape, as well as them almost always having a fallout in hand bc they are almost assuredly run in 4 if they are running it at all. Thanks for the Mark idea tho. Forgot about it...lol.
acidix- if im being controlled and getting hit by fliers its needed. If im being controlled then the kabira is a spell they will conter without thinking twice. and if i donthave 2 live counters to their one its game for me. maybe sideboarded, but its needed.
kkwon0628- The defenders are there for people who like to clean boards like mono red aggro or goblins now. ball lightnings hurt w/o him...lol. Especially against things like hell's thunder and hellspark elementals they like to play. Thanks for the help tho.
That is a good idea as well. levitation is only 1 less to cast. I guess it's worth the extra 1 mana to be able to keep recycling the ability. Thank you. Then again there is the very problem of volcanic fallout. I need mindbreak traps....lmao.
I'm Mostly going with the landfall FTW, but it needs work. Focuses on Scute Mob as a distraction from the trampler that gets big and is the real thing on the board being protected by counter spells. Still feellike it needs work though so maybe this community can help me.
in playtesting the shieldmates have stopped a lot of aggroing on me. He is a defender but the pump he gives as a 3 drop as well gives it a sooth mana curve. 20 lands just seems to work since im only running 2 landfall cards, as well as having a small mana curve. With all the support from white and counters in here, i usually make a great mid game as well. Even the ondu clerics give me a decent late game. I was thinking about spalshing green but i didnt wanna have to fork out the money for misty rainforests and such. It would also slow the ability for me to drop a turn 2 kazandu. (because its 2 w)

Ever since I saw the Zendikar spoiler I said that allies was going to be the deck type that I was going to build. So far, the allies have been a good investment. The deck seems to have no problem except with r/b control.
