  • posted a message on Amazed that noone has tried this: G/U Devotion
I was thinking that this needs Hydras. Mist Cutters and Kalonian. Since we are already in Green, some Lawnawar Elves are in order. Sedge Scorpian perhaps? Glade Cover Scout? Green Devotion you say? Reverent hunter. Round out with some Blue.

Ordeal of thassa: with this many ways to make one one counters Turns into 2/3 of an Ancestral Recall and add a +1+1 counter really fast.

Bioshift. Bioshift makes this deck pretty resilient. Its a swiss army knife of of cool things to do. Deny removal by shifting lots of 1+1+ counters onto Gladecover scouts or lone elves. Do it in the middle of combat to just get damage though.

Other thoughts are Nylea, her Bow, and her ordeal.

I've recently got back into Mtg after a long hiatus. A deck like this seems like is could just blow out lots of other things I see in Standard right now.

Well, if it's their way of living, then I have no right to say to the parents to stop their kid from killing big boars, but really, kids shouldn't be handling guns at that age, even if their way of living is by hunting. The kid should be given a decent childhood for crying out loud.

The kid is at the perfect age to be using a firearm. In Maine, to hunt with a firearm you must be 10. The kid also had adults around him, so supervision was not an issue. If you are concerned with children handling firearms and not having a good childhood, go to Africa and free all of the child soldiers in their militias.

    Quote from RyAqua
This is bad. Company mergers haven't ever done anything good for the competitive business model, and the fact that just about every video on the Internet will now be posted into one company is simply bothersome to me at its root.

Like Einsteinmonkey pointed out, its usefulness probably won't change, so it won't actually affect much of anything.

Its not a true merger persay, Youtube will be an independant unit of the larger Google picture. This is a superb decisionn by Google, Youtube is a important part of the online video business, snatching this up is one more bullet in the Google-Yahoo war. Yahoo buying MySpace is still huge in comparison to the Google-Youtube deal. Myspace just gets so many more hits a day than Youtube. My opinoin- Google did the right thing, the buy was perfect for their current business strategy.

After seeing the video, I was appalled to think that families actually send their children to this camp. The amount of brainwashing there is staggering. I see the formula as preach, repeat, form an activity along it, and then its there permanently. Then in the 6 to 10 years when these kids can potentionally join the armed forces/ be drafted, ....I don't even want to think about it.

Good ol' Bostonian ignorance and optimism bordering on stupidity. You HAVE to love it. And if you're not from New England then you have no reason to root for them, so if that's the case jump off the bandwagon right now, since the oxen are sick and the wheels are about to fall off.

Edit: Bob should disregard the last sentence because he's actually from New England, but I'm leaving it up for Petear Griffin.

That said, they have a good chance at making the Super Bowl due to the gross incompetence of the AFC, but the NFC team should take them out, and those teams include but are not limited to the Giants, Redskins, Bears, Panthers, and Seahawks.

Ignorance is bliss my friend, now only for the Celtics and the Bruins to do something.

  • posted a message on 9/11/01 - Where were you when...
In school in shop class, the teacher had been listening to the radio, and heard about this, and turned on his tv, I watched everything happen after the first plane live on Tv. Being in the sixth grade and seeing this was pretty brutal. I'll never forget the images burned into my mind. From then on, I ahve seemed to grow up pretty quick, then again, that might just be puberty.

I fthere is one thing that can be said about this, I told you so. I'm a teenager, and I do show guilt and remorse, sometimes. I do have feelings too. And if I blame this on anything, let it be violent video games..........The flood gates have been let open for adult ridiclousness. EVERYBODY PANIC.

BoSox for the win. Lving in the real red sox nation (Maine), I am not a stereotypical moron who just decided to start saying reverse the curse in 2004, So I don't want to hear any of that. I also hate people that wear any basesball hat, and don't even watch baseball, it really peeves me.

Another tactic, I you are going to die, throw a grenade at your feet, you will catch quite a few peole wiht it. As for the rocket launcher, splash damage si fine. Als the shotgun, is best for running straight at the person, pump a round into them at close range, and its an instant kill.
