i tried faithless looting for a while and i didnt like it.
when you have it early, you have better things you should be playing and when you need to see new cards its because youre low on cards anyway and the discard makes you make terrible decisions. i just cut it.
on the other hand ive found electrolyze to be extremely effective
i know how you feel. i felt i wanted something like trickbind in my RUG delver list for a while, but i needed it to not be such a dead card.
voidslime i play a one of and it has been useful in any situation imaginable. stops a marty from blowing up, stops opposing shackle activations, stops the critical sword equip, is a hard counter late game for that topdeck bolt boros will draw, etc.

also, i played in a test tourney today and placed first. it wasnt sanctioned unfortunately but i played against two versions of proc (one with black i drew and one mono white i 2-0ed)
as well as boros (beat him but honestly only to a terrible mulligan)
and some random scrub deck.
i will say, the changes i made from the stock list came through immensely and i couldnt be happier with it. heres hoping to at least make day two.
I'm going to my first Grand Prix this weekend and i cant help but feel immensely under prepared.
I need some advice. should i play the list ive been working on that i feel is under tested, or should i just run the stock list ive seen online that the pros have tested and had the time to tune.
to put it in perspective, i have been testing as much as i possible can but i keep second guessing myself and basically im just worrying over every little detail.
i was thinking about goblin ruinblasters in the side, but im not sure if this deck will be big enough to warrant sb slots. maybe just some blood moons and call it good?
also, how many slots is enough for one deck? it seems i have alot of slot devoted to one or two decks and i just dont see how i improve my matchup against decks like tron or marty proc.
what do you guys think of faithless looting? maybe as a replacement for slight of hand?
and what about clinging mists against boros and/or affinity?
also on the deprive note: I just got done playing some intense rounds at my shop and deprive was the champ.
against boros i was at 1 and in hand i had some mana leaks, a deprive and a cryptic. needing to get some threat on board i ran out a goyf so i only had 2 mana left open. if i had 3 mana leaks in hand that topdeck bolt would have killed me cause he could have paid for it. deprive saved my life and i was able to beat him down no problem.
hey, im having a problem i cant figure out after stretching my google muscles. so, while im at home i have absolutely no problems at all. but as soon as i get to school, my connection keeps getting refused. does anyone know why that would be happening and how i can change it?
