Xen does stuff to piss of the staff all the time, I'm surprised he wasn't suspended sooner.

Guay seems to have been pigeon-holed in MTG art, they only give her the silly kami stuff, and the occasional semi-generic female character. Does anyone remember Kaysa or Priest of Titania? Gauy does amazing faces and bold peices when given the chance.

I was thinking planet could work similar to an enchant world, where a player could only have one planet in play at a time. Or, a player could only have one planet type at all in his/her entire deck. Does anyone have an opinion in this?

I have the latest version of winzip, and I have 3 friends confirming it does not work.

I have tried in IE and Firefox. Same result, have you tried downloading and using the one on the site rather then the one on your own computer? its possible the upload was corrupted

could you send me a copy of your patch? when I download the one from the link above, it comes up as a corrupted zip file that will not let me extract it.

edit: manually dragging the files out of the zip does not work, it asks if you would like to replace the existing file, and no matter what you click, it does not. Extract All tells you the file is corrupted, and dragging the files into any folder doesnt work.

I will have it on my website shortly, provided the download works and installs and all that

edit: The patch does not work, and the total download is much smaller then it should be.

the 10 spots most likely refer to the 10 combinations of colors, then to ten distinct colors. Ravnica is supposed to have lots of gold stuff in it, and instead of having most of the red cards be akki related for example, the red/green cards might have an ongoing theme, and the blue/white cards another

so all 4 lands are squared off with the junk land line changed to 1,t: shuffle a card back in?

What should the Planet card type do?

Here is a very rare peice, this is taken from a short story featured in Duelist magazine several years ago, about Crovax and Selenia, this is also one of the very few illustrations of Selenia before she became the Dark Angel.

Yeah, the Kamigawa block books almost make up for mirrodin

I was playing a group game against 2 tooth and nail players using this deck, Player A thought he had me beat, heres what happend:

My turn: Beacon of Unrest , target opponent B's Triskelion , it comes into play on my side.

My Next Turn: Play a Swamp , tap 5, play Chainer, Dementia Master , Pay BBB and 3 life, reanimate opponent B's Mephidross Vampire , I now have the feared Mephidross/Trike combo on the board.

Several turns later: Opponent A's Turn: Tooth and Nail , targets: Darksteel Colossus and Duplicant , Duplicant comes into play targeting Chainer . In response, Trike fires at duplicant , killing it, it resolves. Activate Chainer , reanimating Duplicant , targeting Colossus, Trike fires at Vampire and Chainer , causes neither of them to be removed from game, as they die normally. His turn ends with me controlling a 4/4 trike and an 11/11 Duplicant.

I win the game 2 turns later.

If he was the shops tournament organizer, it would be fine if he played, but I do agree, our local shops TO manipulates things in his favor as well, from prize distribution to game match ups.
