    Serrated Arrows actually has an interesting interaction with the Kithkin, given that as a state-based effect, a creature with both -1/-1 counters and +1/+1 counters on it removes one of each until it only has one...

    So it makes the creature smaller and means that the Kithkin doesn't give back as many guys when it dies.

    I <3 the Fujita picture, and I don't think that the De Rosa picture is that big a deal. I've interacted with him a couple of times, and it's a decent representation of the man's antics. I don't see what the big deal is, either a) the cost to produce them is being made up in added revenue, or b) they're a failed experiment costing Wizards money. Either way, not our problem. Wizards is a business, making a business decision. If it's working, great. Anything which makes Wizards money prolongs the life of the game. If it isn't working, they'll stop soon enough.

    I, and most of the people I know from the local area, find the cards at worst amusing, and at best, a very amusing thing which is fun to collect/use as tokens, etc. They're not a big deal, and we haven't lost anything since they started showing up.

    Also, I want a Fujita and a Karsten!!

    EDIT: And the joy that Rob Dougherty got when I gave him a Dave Humphreys....

    Hate Humphreys.

    Boston, MA: Judging.
    I'm not yet sure if I'm going to be at the GP or the prerelease, Rob hasn't told me yet, but probably the Prerelease running flights. I'll be the 6'2" guy that's a bit big, ponytail, and probably some scraggly facial hair.

    My comments are all about limited unless otherwise noted, I don't think these cards will have an effect in Constructed.

    Ogre Recluse - :3mana::symr:
    Creature - Ogre Warrior (U)
    Whenever a player plays a spell, tap Ogre Recluse.
    5/4

    This is not so great, because it prevents YOU from developing your board pre-combat, as well as all the other mentioned drawbacks. On the other hand, most of the time you SHOULDN'T be playing spells pre-combat, so it may help some weaker players in that way... ;p But yes, it definitely fits into B/R aggro.

    Ogre Marauder - :1mana::symb::symb:
    Creature - Ogre Warrior (U)
    Whenever Ogre Marauder attacks, it can’t be blocked this turn unless defending player sacrifices a creature.
    3/1

    I think this card is strong, especially given that there's this large number of cards coming out that rely on unblocked creatures... Who knew that an Ogre Warrior would be the Ninja's best friend?

    Scourge of Numai - 3 manablack mana
    Creature - Demon Spirit (U)
    At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 2 life if you don’t control an Ogre.
    4/4

    2 life is a lot, and cage of hands owns this guy, but he could definitely still see play in a deck with a bunch of ogres.

    Takenuma Bleeder - :2mana::symb:
    Creature - Ogre Shaman (C)
    Whenever Takenuma Bleeder attacks or blocks, you lose 1 life if you don’t control a Demon.
    3/3

    This guy is fine, 3/3s for 3 are good.
    For constructed though, not so much in Standard, maybe in block, though that's also kinda sketchy. The problem with 3/3s in block is that there's a bunch of 3/xs in combat for 2... And of course the ogre/demons definitely don't appear able to compare with aggressively costed weenies.

    Ok, here's the deal, WW likes this card. WHY does WW like this card? Because it's not the best aggro deck. There's a better one out there. This means that WW has to have control elements in order to be able to win, because otherwise it will fail to know it's role. A 2/5 spirit link will trade with or kill frogmites and arcbound workers (trade with if they're equipped with that annoying hat, otherwise just kill), while gaining life and time. Time is what WW needs right now, because it's just not the fastest aggro deck. Actually I'm not sure it's even second fastest, but this also works nicely against sligh. Sure, the card's bad when WW needs to race tooth, but hey, it helps one matchup, it's at least a sideboard card.

    Huh? How do you figure they're 'betrayors'? all I can tell is they're dead... by ninjutsu. Which is cool.
