Well, I felt that 3 Elephant Grass made it a bit unfair for the aggro decks in the format so I decided to cut 2 of them. You're cute.
1. Exploration doesn't help you pay for Elephant Grass. which is one of the best cards in your deck.
2. You have no real Graveyard Hate. Wheel does nothing when Dredge T2s you on the play and is threatening lethal. At least RiP slows them down so you can stand a chance.
3. Your list is EXTREMELY soft to BUG, which is going to be one of the most popular decks in the format after the Invitational results it put up. You might want to fix that.
Just thought it'd be nice to have my full list up here somewhere. Once again, looking to maybe fit a second Oblivion Ring somewhere in the 75. Also, trouble in Paradise. Been playtesting against Cephalid Breakfast tonight. Not sure how I win on the draw . . . ever. Not that I expect more than 3 or so people of the maybe 1400 there to be playing it but still would like insight on how I beat it. Thoughts?
Thought 1: You might not want to start with a 58 card deck.
I just took a look at my Guru Lands, and one of the sigs seems off. I want to confirm that it's actually Terese Nielsen's sig so that I can replace that Forest if not. (2nd Row, Right side)
I'm 100% against anything that deprives someone else the opportunity to play Magic.
If you have 3 byes and you want to play a GPT for whatever reason, go for it. You don't even have to scoop the byes if you don't want to. Just remember how karma works. ;-)
So you can't use the Checklist as the night side of the card? /sadface
I really don't want my Huntmaster's to stay in a toploader as not only is it cumbersome and awkward to fit into a deck box, it's aesthetically unseemly. Wizards should really allow for some leeway with cards that are 20$+ having to constantly flip in double sleeves. For instance, would I get an infraction if I kept an extra card (not in a sleeve and not standard legal) somewhere accessible so I could actually flip the card much easier (pretty sure everyone knows that using a second card to help double sleeve is so much easier/better), if they're really anal about it.
I know at FNM it doesn't really matter, but I'd like to attend some SCG or TCG or even GP/GPT events nearby and I don't want to go dive into the water without knowing the depth so to speak.
Keep the actual flip card in a clear sleeve and keep it with your deck while using a checklist card in the opaque sleeve. This is not only recommended but encouraged.
I have played foils at various high level events before and been deckchecked lots and lots of times, and never heard anything.
From what I understand, foils are only problematic if you have a clear pattern of foils in your deck. For example, if all your lands are foils and none of your other cards, or if you have only very specific cards foiled out. If I were you, I'd just foil up a couple of other random cards (such as basics, yeah), and it should not be an issue. If you are still unsure, I suggest asking a judge before the player meeting at the GP.
As long as the cards aren't warped to the point where they're marked, the cards are fine. I'm not a fan of the "foiling up a couple of random cards" plan.
Additionally, you may want to consider double sleeving (Perfect Fits). It helps keep your foils flat.
If these card where reprinted in standard sets that would be even more people to play with, and the increased demand would counteract the increased supply.
The only reason to do it this way is it will get Wotc more money.
Or, you know, because they don't want cards that will be busted in/too powerful for Standard in Standard again.

Appreciate it. I think I still may want to replace that one for consistency's sake when I get the rest signed but I'm glad it's not fake. Thanks!

I agree that Revised Duals are kind of clunky.

If it can't be Japanese foil, but was a Judge foil, the card is then a Judge Foil.
If the card can't be either Japanese foil or Judge foil, but can be Japanese, it gets altered.
If it can't be any of the 3 above things, it's English and altered.
(Exceptions: Command Tower and Mana Crypt due to when they came out vs. when I got originals altered)
