Jun 24, 2010bloodghasts posted a message on Mono-White 'Transcendent Sovereign'I think Eternity Vessel might be a little counterproductive, since this deck will optimally be showing increase in life every turn, and it competes in mana slot with Felidar Sovereign who is a very likely win con. I'd suggest removing it, and maybe two other things, for 4 Rest for the Weary. It's a truly amazing card, especially for early-game lifegain, while Wall of Omens is still keeping the opponent at bay. I was about to suggest Survival Cache too, and now I've just noticed your "Considering" part, I'm glad we're on the same page. Does Wall of Reverence really help much? I haven't used it but it seems like Transcendent Master could better use one of its slots, and then maybe the other two could go to making Rest for the Weary a playset. I like how in a few months when the rotation is complete, despite losing Cradle of Vitality and Knight of the White Orchid, you get Ajani's Pridemate and Goldenglow Moth, which is a pretty damn good tradeoff.Posted in: Free 7hinker's Deck Space

I was looking at some of the legendary dragons on the gatherer and decided I would challenge myself to make this odd-colored deck. Do you guys have any suggestions? And do you think it would really work? I'm considering ordering it but I want to be completely sure it will be a fluent deck before I spend any money.
Some card choice explanations:
Momir Vig, Simic Visionary: great for getting Vorosh into my hand as quickly as possible
Fate Transfer: could be really cool and surprising if I used it to transfer Vorosh's counters to Jhessian Infiltrator, but I'm not sure if it's worth the slot.
Drowned Catacomb: simply there because I have one
Fireshrieker: double strike doubles vorosh's ability. Somewhat of a "win more" card, since if I pay the extra cost on Vorosh with this equipped, assuming he had no counters on him yet, it'd do 18 damage
Whispersilk Cloak: since he needs to do combat damage to a player, and since I don't want my finisher to be taken out by some random removal spell
Also to note: I don't want to shell out the money for Doubling Season or any expensive lands
other suggestions:
[CARD]Acceptable Losses
Amok
Arc Mage
Burning Inquiry
Chandra Ablaze
Control of the Court/Goblin Lore
Cragganwick Cremator
Gamble
Gathan Raider
Knollspine Invocation
Rites of Initiation
Skullscorch
Sparkspitter
Pain // Suffering
Wheel of Fortune[/CARD]
and that's just for red
What should I replace?
Just a basic, fun beatdown deck. Any suggestions?
even if someone was you'd gain up to 60 life, and if you had sanguine bond they'd be done for sure
Even if not, it'd come in as a 3/3 with Sigil Captain.
I'll edit the list

Bear with me, this is my first post here. I'm not sure if 4 Terramorphic Expanse is too many, I put them in so I can shuffle if I end up with a nonblack card on the top of my deck when Vampire Nocturnus is out. The Umbra Stalkers and Liliana Vess are just in because I have them, and because with 4 Nocturnus that have 3 black mana symbols each, the Umbra Stalkers could end up being pretty strong, though I might swap them out for 2 Malakir Bloodwitch. Anyway, the strategy is to gain life with cards like Child of the Night, Feast of Blood, Vampire's Bite, and Vampire Nighthawk and have Sanguine Blood out so I can double my fun. Also, if I can manage to pull a Blood Tribute when I have Sanguine Blood out, I'll automatically win. Thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated.
