Would this be the right place to ask if someone could help me make multicolored frames in photoshop? I have tried using gradient overlay but I can't get more than 1 color to display properly.

Double click on the layer (Photoshop of course ^__^) of the frame you want. Then try using gradient, then try to change different angles of its presence to see what the outcome is until you can have something you want. You may also need to adjust the different proportion of each color on the gradient color bar in order to get a satisfactory result for you. Just try and error, nothing special.

You may also try to find "Kentu" 's posts here and click on different links under his signature. I remember he has shown fellows here how to get a multi-colored frame long time ago. You may search for it also.

Hope this help. Good and happy rendering. Smile

    Great work!

Just wanna point out your Bolas, the Arisen has "plainswalker" instead of "planeswalker"

    Haha keep it up!

Ha, thanks for the reminder. Fixed.

    Hey everyone!

I'm loving these digital alters and I've been following this thread for a while on my old account (can't log in for some reason).

I was wondering if anyone had v2 or v3 of Petercal's Minimalist frames. I messaged him but have yet to hear back and I'm dying to start my proxy cube. I love his design and can't wait to use those split cards and planeswalkers!

Try to search under Kentu's message and click on his signature " Template " to see if it has what you want. Good Luck.

Sadly the only template of Petercal's under Kentu's directory is v1 Frown

I don't know then. Can't help, sorry Sweat

These are great! Definitely an interesting spin on the half-card saga art style. These would definitely look pretty solid next to the art of things like Time of Ice and such. Maybe even some old heraldic art. Is this a template you're willing to share?

Thx a lot for your kind words. I'm much honoured being asked for sharing my templates. Actually this design is not originated from me but a fellow called Daniel in the proxy community group. Honors should go to him therefore. BTW, this frame is not a complicated frame to make. It needs just a simple layer of outer border from any existing mtg render template(using photoshop, of course ^__^ ), then go google searching for some scrolls images and add them on the layer. Try different effects on the layers then everyone can have his own template like this, if one is interested. No secret at all. ^__^

    Thank you very much!!!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

My take on the Spellbook frame for Planeswalkers, with a nod to the old brown artifact frames.
This frame has no borrowed assets - the only art I didn't draw is Jason Chan's Karn.

    Very Nice!!! Thanks for sharing
Love to see more people come here and share different idea and creations of their renders!!
