Oh, my. I'd be lying if I wasn't disheartened by this announcement. As one of the 2005 old-timers (with I think about 5 years at MTGNews prior) I've had a place in my heart for this community for like 20 years. For many timeframes during that period it was my daily reading and posting, mostly in the Custom Creation and Casual areas. I'll offer my sincerest thank yous to the staff, owners, mods, and members (and anyone else?) for the awesome time I've had here.
I want to extend a special appreciation for the site being kept readable. Hopefully you can let us know somehow if that ever changes so we can collect anything we may want to save. Will the archived site still be searchable / loginable to find posts?
I am given hope that something new may be in the works. Good luck and let us know details when you can.

One of my faves is Shared Fate. What other cards let you play with your opponent's deck? -

Your feedback looks good to me. I don't have much to add. I'll second that Overthrow needs a power lessen, maybe cost a lot more, or the "black Legendary" addition. Metathans! Plant Wolf! Sewer Clab! Cool stuff. I think the rhystic effect is too feel bad for modern Magic, I remember all the times I used Disruptive Student and Flailing Soldier and that rhystic land (I had a thing for the effect back in the day) and it was waiting until someone forgot and tapped out, then gotcha or just slowing the game down style of play that wasn't great. But a few here and there would not be an issue.
Aether Mox - 0
Legendary Artifact
~ enters the battlefield tapped, then you get E.
T: Add a charge counter to ~.
Remove a charge counter from ~, T: You get E if you have at least EEE.
So, your free stuff like a Mox when you get it, but then free stuff only every other turn. I have no idea on it's power level.
Shrug?
I think it's a okay topic, I just didn't read...

... as Ornithoper will be a Masterpiece reprint.
My opinion is... no way. The complainers would have a field day if such a cheap, common/uncommon was put into the Inventions. It'd be feel-bad more than feel-good.
I'm local, but I'm just a kitchen table casual so not sure I can help you.
EDIT:
Now that I think about it, I like these also:
Arcadian Comics & Games in Newport, KY
Rockin' Rooster on the west side of Cincy
But vehicles will return when we do a "Waterworld" set. Pirates and ships and all that.
It seems fair.
Maybe "random order?" Could stacking a large chunk of your library on the bottom be abusable somehow?
Mechanically - I like the second.
PS: Could be hybrid if desired.
Also - how old are you?
Wait...
That is if something was changed, otherwise....
Banish - For me, this is black. See Horobi, Death's Wail. It also would be worded... not that way.
Pursuit - This is a very un-green thing that gets enabled by very green actions. I'm not sure on this. It's acceptable in black for sure, but it is edging closer to what Wizards is pushing right now. For quite a while, all green had was fighting to deal with creatures, but now with "deal damage to a creature equal to your power" aka Clear Shot, Moonlight Hunt, and Rabid Bite, I guess it could be acceptable. Before returning to Innistrad, I would have said no way.
Learned Presence - Too weird for my tastes, and seemingly very swingy. Does nothing a decent amount of time.
Discordant Bolt - Seems too strong? That it counts lands is what is strong. Given the focus on non-basic lands these days, it seems like it does too much for one mana. If printed, it probably would be creatures only.
Dissonance - That's very cool. Seems good, but fair?
