And I like how it's a direct threat to make fetching not the no-brainer it was. And I like how stuff like the Pyromancy Ascension then can counter milling a bit. I hope to see a little more of that.
Do you mean that if they fetch you mill? Because Landfall only works for your lands, so that still makes fetching a no-brainer. A land you need and six off the top? Why not?
Considering the strategy is rarely viable in any tournament format (Owling Mine and High Tide are the only ones I can think of that aren't Fog based), I think it's nice to see them give it some solid love this time around.

Anyway, We know for a fact that Elsphet is not native to Alara, and we know for a fact that she "comes from a plane of darkness and horror". Now, we don't know to many planes that are like that, and one of those we can discredit from the start because it is pretty much only populated by demons (The Abyss), Of the remaining we can also discard Shadowmoor as she is obviously human (or human looking), that pretty much leaves two possible home planes among the planes we know: Phyrexia and Ulgrotha, and the latter only holds true if the Baron finally managed to conquer the plane.

I think you'll really miss the Path to Exile / Archive Trap synergy. But, best of luck in any case.

As mentioned earlier, either you get a drawback-less PtE (meaning they missed out on thinning their deck AND getting a land for ramping/landfall or that it's well past when they need a land, so whatever you PtEd was worth it) or you get to trap them, which comes with the fun of mimicing Admiral Ackbar.

Posts that just answer a question by saying "Yes" or "No", without any further explanation, are considered spam. Please explain why something works or why not. Exception: If the question is "Is [explanation stuff stuff] correct?", "Yes" is an acceptable answer. "No" is not - explain why it's wrong then.
You can save time by using the Search function to see if such a thread exists that already answers your question. You generally will not be penalized for not searching, though, unless the question you're asking is still on the first page in another thread.
Don't repeat the right answer over and over again. That can also be considered spam. If the question of a thread has been fully answered and this answer has been backed up by two other posters, then I think that the thread has served its purpose.
If you're not 100% sure if your answer is correct, please avoid posting. Check the Comprehensive Rules or other resources to make sure that you're right, or just wait until someone who is sure helps out. Guessing answers does not help! It is okay to be wrong, but do not say "I don't know, but I think..." unless there's a very good reason to guess.
Do use card-tags, especially when starting a thread or mentioning a card for the first time. You can find an explanation on how they work in THIS THREAD. There are only two exceptions to this rule: basic lands, and questions where the cards don't matter (eg, referring to "Dread Return" played for its flashback cost versus "a spell" played for its flashback cost to ask a question on flashback). Absolutely do not include in your post "Hey, use card tags!" This serves no purpose whatsoever; just report the post, and one of the mods can determine if card tags are needed and handle it appropriately. For cards that have not yet been released, please post the rules text, to the extent we currently know it.
Just because some people don't understand it: this is not the forum to discuss combos and/or strategies. This is a forum where you can ask and answer rules-questions, but that's it. If you want to know if and why a combo works, you're in the right place. If you want to know how to respond to anything or the like, go to the strategy-forums. Mentioning how to improve a combo in a rules answer is okay; posting just to provide combo tips is not.
Be polite. While the general forum rules already prohibit flaming, please remember that you're either here to give or receive assistance. The standards for politeness are therefore higher than other parts of the Salvation forums.
No nitpicking. If you want to post that an answer is wrong because of either a) an informal usage (summoning sickness, fizzle), or b) one or two cards in all of Magic can change the answer, DON'T. Yes, the answer is different if Chains of Mephistopheles is in play. No, no one cares. Nitpicking serves to discourage users from posting answers, which does a disservice to everyone.
