Colt continued to perform maneuvers with his oversized sword, swinging it over and around himself, trying to imagine how he would dispatch a shape shifting lizard while getting a workout. Colt has rarely had to work to find the monster he hunted, mostly their presence was apparent.

Colt was shocked, and turned to address the expectorating Nadrask.

"Well well, an Easterner who knows the challenge. I look forward to killing whatever it is you failed to kill."

Then Colt proceeded towards the door again.

"I'm finding more and more that the fighting is never the longest part. Usually the longest part is either the decision to fight, or the march to the enemy. Or boat ride. Or whatever. You know what I mean, man, I should quit trying to sound smart."

Colt managed to resist the temptation to make a joke about the trail of a fire breathing lizard being warm, and instead did his absolute best to walk directly through the Nadrask group.

Colt was also present and listened to the story. He felt some sympathy for the woman's loss, but more excitement about the terrifying beast and how difficult it must be to kill. His eyes became murky and distant as he daydreamed of pulling the firebreathing organs out of the lizard's neck.

Colt walks away without picking up the eyes. He doesn't have a backpack, see, so anything he can't wear or use immediately basically has to stay put.

Colt arrived at the Drunken Ass, this time knowing a bit more about Eastern Etiquette than he knew last time he was at a dining establishment. He kept an eye out for that woman who wanted something killed.

Colt shambled in, holding some spider eyes in a makeshift sack. He tried to get them identified, hoping they had some properties that would make the Heartseeker cooler when Imbued.

*Afterwards, whatever the result, Colt heads to the Drunken Ass where he heard another woman needs help killing a sweet monster.

Colt was sad to see Laelaps go, but also slightly relieved.

"That one has what it takes to be a true Wyrmbane... Including self sufficiency."

Colt collected his share of the pay from the Sentinel and headed to a local Cleric to see if these spider eyes had any cool properties if they were imbued on a sword.

Colt, for his part, simply held his sword in one hand and screamed as loud as he could. Colt learned as a baby Wyrmbane that you shouldn't kill the monster children - What will your children kill if you drive the monsters extinct?

Colt tried to frighten the spiders away, by having his spaulders burst into flames, and swinging his sword at their general leg-level.

"I'd suggest May, but who knows if magic orbs are safe for babies? If there's someone on the island who knows how to build a boat, then that person maybe, so they can instruct the zombies better."

Colt wasn't concerned with Laelaps taking time, and pulled his weapon out of the dying spider-beast. He turned towards the approaching enemy with his sword at the ready.

    "Take your time, kid."
