Meh. I don't think that it will be a big deal. Primeval Titan was so problematic because it was a creature that could easily be tutored/cheated, cloned, and flickered.
I like that he offers a sac outlet from the discard pile, though it's not for any particular value. It's a 10/10 which isn't nothing, but without any trait's that's just a big butt. Let's be honest, most people run far more creatures than Sharuum. Truthfully? I would rather run Darksteel Collasus and have a real threat (or three).
One thing to keep in mind is that this is set one of two for the block, so we might see more in the immediate future still. Also, just because some peices don't fit into the immediate build, it might be worth deconstructing and rebuilding if enough new pieces or tools are made available.
I frequently hold on to intuition until the last minute and fetch for an answer like instant removal, and then double entomb unburial rites / wincon. The other player is forced to give me the immediate answer to the player about to win, and it sets up my own line of play in a round when I know everyone else is out of gas.
Edit: I also like
Codex Shredder / Open the Vaults / Bitter Ordeal
Fortunately, my meta is very heavy with removal and counters, so the quick combo decks normally get shut down hard. Meanwhile, Im casting Voyager Staff and Salvaging Stations, and all the control players shrug, in ignorance or relief that it's not an immediate threat. Well it doesn't take too many trinkets for Sharuum to be able to answer nearly any play, or make the play herself.
Homestly, painlands are fine if your OK with paying life to manafix occasionally. Especially in the early game where you very well may have a handful of pain lands or other colorless sources. Having abu, shocks, and fetches is far more noticable.
It's like a really bad bazaar. At least now there is a budget option.
Edit: Eldritch Moon generally has me throwing up in my mouth. There are a few gems to be sure, but the flip card style of mechanics are a severe turn off.
Frantic Search is a card that's gone in and out of my own version. It's a great way to dig into your deck and selectively feed your discard pile for free at instant speed.

Academy Ruins / Blinkmoth / Crucible of Worlds
edit: Whispering Madness could be windfall #2 and if ciphered on a creature, nearly a soft lock.

I would gladly sacrifice five, no six goats if you would print a Serra card.
I would slit their throats, bathe in their blood, and burn their hearts as offering to you should you do me this small kindness.
Edit: It makes all of those mediocre, or even bad 0 or 1 drop artifact into recurable value machines or even win conditions.
I run this in my planeswalker deck and it's always a blast when it resolves. I don't think I've ever seen it get countered either.
