    Chronicler of Heroes
Evolve (Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, if that creature has greater power or toughness than this creature, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.)

If you play the Chronicler of Heroes while you have an Evolve creature smaller than the Chronicler (so that Evolve will trigger), can you order the triggers so that you draw a card?

Or will the Chronicler only trigger at all if there's already a creature with a counter on it? It's my understanding that because of the position of the "if" in it's ability, the ability always triggers and then checks on resolution if you satisfy the condition?

Competitive magic is not about creativity. If you want to build a deck for fun, do whatever you want. If you want to play to win, don't complain about a lack of creativity.

They really can't think of something new to do with Chandra's +1? It's just been slightly better versions of the same thing each time. It's still not good enough, imo. Let down by her, I really doubt she'll be good enough to see much if any play.

Am I the only one that thinks the black-on-black art is absolutely sick? I LOVE it! I want to get one of these boxes so bad, hopefully they're not too exclusive.

You're playing a few bad cards (Beckon Apparition, Furious Resistance), but for the most part your deck looks surprisingly aggressive for a DGM deck. However, once those big-asses start dropping on turns 4/5 you're in for a lot of trouble. Aggro decks don't really work so well in DGM limited because of this. Due to the nature of multicolor formats, decks are packed with very powerful and efficient cards. However, these decks usually spend their early turns just playing lands or mana fixing cards. You'd think that an aggro deck would be able to edge them out, but it's hard to be both fast and consistent enough in sealed.

You were definitely right to go Boros, imo. Boros Battleshaper and Assemble the Legion are powerful bombs. But I don't agree with 1 swamp splash for Ultimate Price - especially since you left out Stab Wound , Augur Spree and TWO Orzhov Charms! You could have easily committed more to the Borzhov colors and played these powerful removal cards. I think I'd have played it something like the following. It's very top-heavy, but those big hastey dudes are awesome in this format. You have plenty of removal to slow down any decks that might play early aggro. The biggest issue is the lack of mana fixing in your colors here.

Eventually? Maybe. Anytime soon? Definitely not.

P1P2: Haunter of Nightveil. I'm getting vibes that you're forcing orzhov because of the blood baron, but the fumes is just so much worse than the haunter that it's not worth taking it just to stay orzhov. Haunter also puts you nicely into esper if that is open.

P1P5: Second maw over the torturer, which is a mediocre card at best.

P1P6: Again, the fumes is pretty unimpressive. I would have taken sin collector here. It's not the greatest, but it cuts off orzhov and is probably better than the 2nd fumes.

P2P5: Denizen is a fine card in heavy white decks. Hating the rubblehulk doesn't make that much sense: its not even that good.

P2P9: Hate the call, you're never playing whip.

    Thanks for the feedback!

P1P2: I think you're underestimating Fatal Fumes, it's rather solid removal in this format imo. I went in with the intention of forcing a 2-color deck to see if it would work, so that's why I didn't consider picking the Haunter of the Nightveil. In hindsight, you're probably correct here.

P1P5: I wasn't sure if I wanted a second Maw here, since it's not great in multiples. Double Torturer wound up winning me a few games. I think it's pretty solid.

P1P6: Sin Collector is extremely mediocre imo. I'd much rather have the removal than a Gray Ogre.

P2P5: Court Street Denizen is fine in Boros decks but it doesn't do much in slow Orzhov decks. I also did not have a lot of white creatures, actually, my deck was mostly black.

P2P9: You're definitely correct. Not sure what I was thinking there.

Curious if you'd have done anything differently. This was my first DGR draft that went well. Funnily enough, I lost the first match of every round somehow, to mana screw every time. Wound up not mattering as my deck was solid enough (or I was lucky enough) to win games 2 and 3 every time. :p

Imperiosaur at common seems rather nutty in limited if you ask me. 5/5 for 4 with effectively no drawback. I guess it depends on how high the power level of draft decks winds up being.

So colored artifacts are the returning mechanic?
    and giants...

Not sure if serious or not, this is for Modern Masters, not M14. Modern Masters is an all reprint set that won't be Standard legal. There are abazillion mechanics in it, all of them returning because there are no new cards.

Limited. You will almost definitely run dry eventually, but you will never have to worry about cards losing value, keeping up with the format or your deck rotating. Even if you only manage to get in the prize every other draft or so, $300 could easily last you 100 drafts between prize and selling everything you open.

Was using the beta client and clicked on a pack accidentally and it opened. No confirmation or anything, when you hover over the pack a "OPEN" button shows up and I meant to right click it to set tradeable and accidentally left clicked. The initial request was denied but after I made a big deal about they gave the pack back. Haven't used the beta client since, not sure if they've fixed that issue or not.

First mulligan free would be the best way to change the mulligan rule, imo. Reduces chances of losing to mulligans and doesn't add much (if any) incentive to mulligan more aggressively than people currently do. Doesn't break any strategies like a land-count rule or anything of the sort would.

We have seen very little but they've done a good just of getting us excited to start off with, imo. As of right now I'm looking forward to this set.
