Totally agree, and in fact I believe I've touched on this a couple of times as well. All I have to add is that Hollywood is REALLY grasping at straws when they are considering making movie versions of Monopoly and The Sims.

So you tell me, has Hollywood run out of creativity? Monopoly: The Movie + The Sims: The Movie = Hell yes. Now, is that really a bad thing? Eh, depends. As for me, as long as they keep churning out Bond movies and Marvel movies, I'll be happy. At least, as long as the Bond movies aren't like The World is not Enough and the Marvel movies aren't like Fantastic Four (how in the HELL did that get a sequel anyway!?)

I don't know why more people don't comment on people's blogs, but I do know that, on my blog, I've gotten more comments from Johnation than from any single other person. But yeah, we need more people who are willing to share their views on what people post on their blogs. I feel kinda bad now after what Alacar said. While I have seen a bit of Bible Black, those comments were not inspired by it in any way. I haven't bothered to watch it for a really long time (a few years). It all came out of this damaged thing that I call a brain.

It would be very nice to see this game revived. I totally miss playing it. Let me ask you: is that version of David Ortiz an existing card or did you create it based on his past season? If it was the latter, how did you come up with the formula to determine his chart?

OK, I guess I gotta respond to all you Batman lovers out there. First off, @Bitsy, Tony Stark had to be Iron Man because he would have DIED if he took off the armor. You know, because of that shrapnel that got lodged in his heart when his convoy got ambushed while he was showing off his newest weapon? Bruce Wayne never had to experience that. He would never die by simply giving up being Batman. Although I can see the similarities: both are fighting for some sense of revenge, but Batman does so because his parents got killed by some random punks, while Iron Man does so because he was PERSONALLY attacked by enemies during a frigging WAR. Also, why is it that you haven't responded to my point about Batman fighting crime only at night? Could it be because I'm RIGHT?
Oh, and any comic that comes up with a villain as retarded as Penguin deserves to be made fun of.

Ok, I feel that I need to explain my stance here a bit more. I'm not saying that depression doesn't exist in children. I myself was depressed as a child. I got over it. It took quite a bit of work, but I got over it. The whole point I'm trying to make here is that the suicide thing was completely stupid and unnecessary.

And as to Danny: yes, I believe that a threat from someone who could be a stalker should be taken seriously. But these weren't messages from a stalker. They were from someone this girl thought was a boy who called her fat and a (to use an old-timey word) trollop. These weren't threats. It was just normal, albeit overly aggressive, teenage teasing.

To summarize: Kids CAN be depressed, this girl probably was, but there was just too many things that could have been done to prevent her from committing suicide for me to have much sympathy for her, her family, or the other family involved in this.

See, this is why I hate children. They have an uncanny knack for showing up at the worst possible time.:p
