psly4mne: If I phase it out in response to his drain [in response to my phasing it out], I make it do 0 damage to me. I haven't played the match out, but I think that might put me ahead. I'm not sure... it might be 3-3 - if I have 8 lands and he has 7, I'm able to do 1 damage 100% of the time and he only can do it 75% of the time, but if he has 8 lands and I have 7, he can drain me and I can't always stop it.
He uses the same trick he uses against Azorius - he trades activations on your turn, then activates again on his turn when you're tapped out. Combine this with the fact that you have to activate first if you ever want to attack, and Lich Lord wins.
Re Guildmage/Lich:
Lich Lord can make one token, even on the draw. He can also get some life loss through, by activating at EOT and then again main phase (what Personman said above). Azorius can get attacks through, but to do so after turn 5, he has to tap down the LL, then counter its token-make. Long story short, it's pretty close but I think LL wins.
Re Mistmeadow/Lich Lord:
Lich Lord can still get some damage through, by activating life loss in response to being phased out. I think it's enough for LL to win.
i 6-0 against domogrue
if he gives student protection before attacking, i recoil mother of runes
if he doesnt, i chump block all day and kill him with the second ability
Not quite correct. It's close, but he beats you on the play. It goes like:
T1 domo: student
T2 domo: student is level 1, play mother, attack to 19
T3 domo: student is level 4, attack to 16
T3 tom: play lord
T4 domo: student is level 8, attack to 8
T4 tom: 4th land
T5 domo: attack
If you make a token, he protects before blocks; if you recoil, he protects in response. You can't do both, because you only have 4 lands. So you have to block with Lich Lord, and then you lose next turn.
I've put in all of what was posted here (with a couple minor corrections) and done most of the rest. It looks like domogrue came very close to a perfect round.
Note, How did I beat lich lord. I cannot beat him before he starts making tokens, tiger also draws with keiga because I would always win the race so keiga never attacks.
You are correct. I'll fix the sheet.
also what is next weeks format, might i suggest. two cards with the same manacost
All the Channel/Emrakul decks should have 68 points. You added up the numbers you have wrong and incorrectly marked the matchup vs. Energy Field as 3-3 when it should be 6-0 in favor of Channel.
Hinotama, Personman, domogrue, loran16, Error1, Xyre, and VM4L are all added up wrong too, although I won't vouch for the accuracy of their match results.
Fixed the Channel-Field matchup. The numbers look wrong because a 3-3 tie actually counts as 2 points.
I put in the results. I'm kind of tired right now, so it's quite likely I made some mistakes. There were a few places I disagree with results people posted for themselves.
I think the special format is a great idea. I would only question whether cards from the backbuild rounds should count (not that it would really matter).

He uses the same trick he uses against Azorius - he trades activations on your turn, then activates again on his turn when you're tapped out. Combine this with the fact that you have to activate first if you ever want to attack, and Lich Lord wins.
So VM4L wins!
That's very restrictive, but I kind of like it.
