Adrenaline Rush
3R
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature gets +4/+0.
Conjure 1R (You may cast Adrenaline Rush any time you could cast an instant if you pay its conjure cost instead of its mana cost. If you do, the controller of the permanent it becomes sacrifices it at the beginning of the next cleanup step.)
In a world where ante is allowed, Bronze Tablet provides pinpoint enchantment destruction. Lux Cannon is a repeatable effect, but takes multiple turns. Spine of Ish Sah lets you destroy any enchantment for 7 mana.
Similar to the Spine, Scour from Existence can remove any enchantment without relying on white, green or blue mana.
Sure, but even in pre-mending stuff, actual depictions of summoning were (1) surprisingly rare, and (2) almost always either "calling" existing creatures from nearby or creating aetheric copies.
That last is of particular note. The earliest magic lore was quick to note the ethical problems inherent in yanking other thinking beings away from their lives to fight and die with you. Eventually, this got swept aside with the idea that you weren't really doing that – you just made magical copies based upon your own perceptions and experience of the person you were “summoning”. The final story in the Colors of Magic anthology even had a scholar interacting with a summoned version of himself, showing how there were subtle differences between them!
(Though, for whatever reason, when that story's hero, Feldon, got made into a card, he was now building robot copies of people, so who knows what other retcons have since hit this concept.)
So even if modern 'Walkers were summoning people, rather than the bests and elementals they're more inclined towards, I'd see no reason not to assume those “people” are using the same moral workaround as their predecessors in the Weatherlight Saga.
Classically, Magic was about summoning actual creatures, not simulacrum.
Arcades Sabboth was summoned in battle by Leshrac (how a GWU Elder Dragon was summoned by a BR planeswalker is not covered) and was killed by Leshrac's opponent, Kristina of the Woods.
We also know of Elan d'Avenant, a D'Avenant Archer that Jared Carthalion summoned in battle against Ravidel, who was killed by the battlemage.
There was also Feroz, who specifically only used artifact creatures for moral reasons, believing that summoning creatures against their will was unethical.
Welcome to the story so lets take at look at your concerns.
1) While in game we repeatedly are able to "perfectly" resurrect people or things in universe it is a much harder often impossible feat. I can't think of a single instance in-lore where someone really dies and is brought back.
The Battlemage Ravidel was resurrected by Kristina and Taysir.

Haven't they already fixed the Armor of Thorns problem? It no longer uses substance (the keyword that literally did nothing). Instead, you sacrifice it during the beginning of cleanup.
My first cards were a Revised starter deck. The rares I remember from it were Sol Ring and Fastbond. I also got a Serra Angel which was a pretty solid uncommon for the time.
Edit: Reading backthread, my memory was jogged that my third rare in the starter was an Ivory Tower. Amazing that I still am able to remember that.
How do you intend to adapt the DFC casting rules to allow the casting of either side without breaking the old DFCs?
How about:
Lance Tactics (Common) 4R
Instant
Materialize 2R(You may cast this for its materialize cost. If you do, transform it.)
Creatures you control gain first strike until end of turn.
/// Lightning Jouster R Creature - Elemental Knight
2/2
First Strike
Isn't this just the Channel ability word, a la Ghost-Lit Raider?
Lightning Jouster
2R
Creature - Elemental Knight

Channel — 4R, Discard Lightning Jouster: Creatures you control gain first strike until end of turn.
Trickbind is legal in Modern, and sees practically no play in Modern.

Monstrosity is tied to +1/+1 counters to address memory issues. How can you visually see if a creature has been appeased or not?

Serra Angel was an Uncommon from Alpha all the way up to 4th Edition. It was first upgraded to Rare in 7th Edition.
The first Rare I ever pulled was an Orcish Squatters from an Ice Age booster.
