First of all, great software, great way to play with a friend and test decks etc.
My concern that I ran into was with the opponent being able to view the top cards of their library by right clicking their library, and move cards to bottom of library without opponent knowing, essentially scry-ing whenever they want without the opponent knowing.
Is there any feature so that if you right click the deck and do something with it, that it alerts your opponent or makes the opponent accept what you are doing?
Otherwise, is it just the trust factor?
Edit: Just realized the message log on the right that says if opponent is messing with library, very awesome
I am trying to sell some cards, and some of the older ones are difficult to determine what edition they are from. Between these 3 types (4th edition, revised, and unlimited) they all have white borders and appear very similar, is there an easy way to tell? Can someone show some examples with the differences? The difference in price is huge for the cards I have and want to make sure I sell them correctly.
Swallow the Sun. that is a very powerful card against vamps but u need it out early before the kalastria/viscera/bloodghast combo reoccurrs to end the game anyways. Also Duress would answer that before it becomes a problem
for the role of "drawing cards" i think wall of omens is pretty good here. not only do you draw the card, but if its in the graveyard then its reoccuring from Sun Titans for later game. sun titan can also bring back journey if it gets removed
I use it in a mid-range vamp decks. I never have a problem getting rid of it the turn I need to. It's one of my fave cards, idk where u get that it's bad
Cuz br vamps has cheaper ways to spot removal, also running dark tutelage u want as many low CC as possible. Burn usually does the trick better and cheaper, can use most of them as instants too
I'm working on a b/w deck and need good options for the mana, I kno marsh flats for fetching, what about some other lands that can benefit either of the colors? Thx guys
well u read my post i said for non Type 2. there a shop around me that plays legacy.
and what i would use for Type 2
and for soul stair i think its terrible. I would use Sign in blood over liliana vess
I would run Grave titans over liliana vess
why dont you like soul stair? it seems like a more effective way to raise dead. you dont need to pay mana to bring them back so when you bring them back you can cast them right away, and its 2 per card
Vampire Nocturnus? what are you talking about? I dont have that in there, its not legal in standard anymore. I probably will be finding a way to sneak 4 sign in blood in there, more than likely replacing the 3 soul stair and something else. What do you guys think about instead of sign in blood or soul stair, to use 2-3 Liliana Vess instead, can use that to draw cards, and pretty much if it gets to its final its end of game if not it would be my graveyard fetcher
Dark tutelage isnt for this deck, i have too many high casting cost spells in here and I dont like the idea of taking 3-4 damage every turn. Im concidering sign in blood over soul stair, ill prolly order sign in blood and mess around with it to see which one is more helpful. the reason i like bloodthrone in THIS deck over viscera is the different attacking strategies that unfold, once blockers are declared, i can sac creatures to pump bloodthrone if i want to kill a specific creature blocking it, or if its let through i can do tremendous damage, or if they blocking matchups against other creatures would kill the other creatures but not kill the defender, i can sac them to make bloodthrone stronger. I run a B/R vamp deck that runs viscera and thats more helpful with the dark tutelage, etc. Ill test viscera in this one as well but the 2CC bloodthrone doesnt bother me in this one, but i will try both
concidering:
-3 abyssal persecutor,
-3 soul stair
+4 Sign in Blood
+2 grave titan or +2 captivating vampire
I've been wanting to make a deck around some vampires/combos that dont really show up in the B/R Vamp decks because of CC that would slow that type of deck down, so I made more of a mid-range deck that gets stronger and stronger as the game progresses
Use bloodthrone to sac bloodghasts boosting bloodthrones power/toughness
bloodghast goes to graveyard triggering Kalastrias ability also triggers blade of the bloodchief counters onto vampire nighthawk (2 per sac, the potential amount of counters that can be added in one turn is ridiculous... imagine 2 bloodghasts out with 2 blade of the bloodchief on a vampire nighthawk...in one turn, sac 2 bloodghasts adding 8 counters to the nighthawk, drop a marsh flats to bring the bloodghasts back, sac them again to put 8 more on the nighthawk, use marsh flats to grab a swamp and drop it in play, attack with bloodghasts and nighthawk and bloodthrone (+8/+8 until end of turn), sac the bloodghasts again for 8 more counters on the nighthawk...in one turn you can turn a 2/3 flying deathtouch lifelink into a 26/27 flying lifelink, thats assuming tehre are 2 bloodghasts in play and 2 blade of the bloodchief and one bloodthrone, if kalastria is out in play then the above situation could potentially do 12 damage to target player and you gain 12 life from tapping 6 mana, this is safe to assume it can happen by turn 8 running 4 of each and using sign in blood to speed it up.
right now im concidering switching bloodthrone for viscera, testing will determine which is more effective in this deck
also concidering removing 3 soul stair for 3 sign in blood, i would need to find another way to sneak another sign in blood into the deck then.
The idea behind the lacerator (and pulse tracker) is to get creatures out with 1 casting cost that to 2 damage per swing. guul draaz fits the 1CC role but does half the damage and isnt useful until they have 10 life, by the time they have 10 life the game should usually be pretty easy to seel with re-occuring bloodghasat and kalastra highborn
I do like the fireball and have been considering it, i usually only use the burn to take out creatures to open up the path for my vamps and fireball makes that kinda useless compared to a flame slash.
