I've been messing around with the skred control list and its actually pretty good. Having an uncounterable way to nug your opponent for 18 as the game goes long enough is pretty nice.
How do you feel about playing two Wee Dragonauts in the sideboard, so you can go up to 14 creatures against the control decks? I often feel like the lack of threats is a weakness against control.
I mean, its something you could try. I went kind of psycho and I'm now main boarding 1 Pyroblast and 1 Hydroblast, as they're castable even without real targets. They could just be Dispel or Mizzium Skin, but being able to spike an Atog or a Ghostly flicker has been nice Game 1.
I know that I can ask a judge for the oracle text of a card if I know the name. If I know the complete oracle text (with cmc, ablilities, P/T) but no name, can the judge give me the name for the purposes of, say, Pithing Needle?
I'm Sixth on MTGO. I'd be very happy to play some pauper and help gauntlet.
Currently I have: MonoB (no crypts version), Rush Affinity, the more brewey Kuldotha Affinity, Tortured existence and Songs of the Damned Combo. More off the norm decks are GR Aurochs Post and other variations on post (Monored, UGXXX)
Pit keeper is actually just the nuts. Chaining them against aggro is sweet, as well as simply throwing them in front of an onslaught while getting another cycle in. As much as I hate Tusker's 3 mana cycle, its a necessary evil in the deck I think. Grabbing two cards and thinning is just really good. Viscera Dragger allows you to finish your opponent off if you can't crypt rats for the win. Unearth is pretty relevant (and if you're playing pestilence, can keep that around by having a creature at EOT)
The real issue with the deck is that you have to be really good at playing it. Playing to your outs and learning when/what to cycle in each matchup is crucial.
Beyond that, you have to get a little lucky to do well.
An acquaintance and I have been working with this list for a bit. From your list, we added Duress's to the board over the Ravens Crimes. We swapped out Fumespitters for the Blister Beetles.
Initially, we didn't own Crypt Rats, so we started with 4 Pestilence in their place. Against a lot of the Aggro decks, we liked being able to stabilize, drop a Minotaur, and grind the game out. We just got rats, so we're testing a 2-2 split now.
A while ago I remember reading a post where someone built a "sponge" built out of magic cards. It was a bunch of cards folded and torn and combined to make a big ball. I was wondering if anyone knew what this was actually called and where I could find out how to make one.
soon to be up for grabs. i just need to finish my glacial fortress
Something I notice (and seems to be happening a lot lately) with the "Full Art" style is the little bumps where the type line falls. To me, it gives a pretty unfinished look to the card when that isn't "fixed".
EDIT: Forgot to mention how much I LOVE the Picasso-styled Edric. Looks great and the art really fits the feel of the card.
Usually, AdventuresOn (and blackborder) have been great for me. I get quick shipping and decent prices.
In the one event that I did have an issue there, it was that they "couldn't find" a Tooth and Nail I ordered. I purchased it while it was about 6.50, and it saw a short rise in price thereafter. It had been listed as needing about a week to find, which I was alright with. After being in correspondence with them, they shipped the rest of the cards from that order free of charge. A month and a half later, I sent another email to them regarding the card, and it was shipped out the next day (at this point the card was up to a good 12 dollars).
Beyond the occasional needing to split an order and waiting on a few cards, and the one incident above, they have been great to me with great customer service.

Research//Development (hopefully that autocarded right...)
When I shuffle in 4 cards using research, they do not have to be revealed, correct?

I would not be able to join a clan

Thanks
I giggled.
@Sandreline, those duals are gorgeous. I can't tell if I'm just overtired or seeing things, but is the top and bottom of the textbox straight?
