Tutoring in general is black sure. yes. tutoring for artifacts is totally white. What your indicating isn't that the ability to tutor for artifacts "isnt white" you're kind of illustrating my point:it is white and blue and black.
Also, I don't think Tezzeret lacks "community oriented" trait. He has always existed in communities within the game. he works in organizations he has principals there are laws that he obeys and beliefs that he puts to work.
but I'm not arguing that Tezzeret "is white" I am arguing that he is esper and that he was white traits.
No? Tezz controlled the Consortium not because it was some sort of community for him to care about it was a means of acquiring more power. He only had one law for others; don't cross him. There is NOTHING white about Tezzeret. Let me reiterate that: NOTHING.
Also: as we said general artifact tutoring is blue, equipment tutoring is white. Tezz doesn't do equipment.
What you're describing is white black. he controlled an organization for personal gai. that's like, the orzhov's entire deal

I also think that you completely misunderstand the planeswalker design for Alara. for instance your case for Elspeth as a potential WB walker in the future holds no water for her retroactive bant potential, since her currently being dead on there's is the result of events that took place after Alara. Prior to theros, it could not be reasonably argued had any black in her. But she did take up Bant as a residence, she does spend abilities buffing creatures (which is a shared trait of green and white) and she does use abilities to make creatures fly (a shared ability of white and blue). She coyldnt be said to have those colors singularly... but altogether? a case could be made. And that was the idea in those designs.
Flavorwise: Tezzeret believes in a. sort of order, balance, perfection. Tezzeret has always operated on the context of organization.
Tezzeret is FROM ESPER. the shards block has one planeswalker to represent each shard. Bant had Elspeth, Jund had Sarkhan, Naya had Ajani, Grixis had Nicol Bolas, Esper had Tezzeret. literally and developmentally, Tezzeret is totally esper.
Mechanically, Tezzeret has two abilities that search for artifacts, which is a domain of white.
Finally, wizards does seem increasingly interested in printing random three color cards here. An Esper colored walker would be exciting to see, and no one fits that bill better than Tezzeret, a character created to represent those colors.
Saheeli, Garruk, Elspeth maybe Tamiyo and or Karn are commanders
Teferi, Ral Zarek, and then either Tiyo or Karn are in guilds of Ravnica.
Jace and Liliana are intro decks for Ravnica
That's my guess

I could see that Tamiyo actually being a reprint it appears to be in the same pose
In fact, we haven't heard from Dovin Baan in any way since he was first revealed... no flavor text or art or anything, right?
compare to Gideon Ally of Zendikar... you really get a lot this any way on that card... even better though, sooo
I feel like this is broken and they know it, lol. being able to drop this and then pay 2 for something else is so ******* bananas
