you list is more aggro than mine -- you might want to try out putrid leech
looks good, but i think you need more instant removal -- i was packing 7 instant removal spells backed by tidehollow scullers and inquisition of kozilek for more distruption, and it still wasn't enough to ensure that I could stop their combo.
mana leak is another possibility
Is it too gimmicky to try to run cold eyed selkie?
It seems interesting with exalted. A lot of decks run islands.
Still, I've been looking for a good excuse to run transmuter, and this is a good start.
Consider heartless summoning or that Scars block artifact that exiles a card of a type and lets cards of that type cost 2 less, tidehollow sculler, ethersworn canonist, and counterspells.
You don't really do anything until 4 mana with this deck and the format is pretty aggressive. You need (more) ramp or some form of disruption.
Yep. Gotta temper the wishful gambler.
auriok plus black lotus
more like vintage masters
In other words you have low distruption because you have no blue or black, and your deck is too slow to race them.
Yet white and green do have some things. Thalia, Gaurdian of Thraben, and Ethersworn Canonist. You have surgical extraction which you can cast for 2 life.
What about something like plow under against tron? Probably too slow, huh?
Also, why not splash blue or black for sideboard options to deal with combo and tron? I see no reason as to why we couldn't add blue. Blue has some enchantments as well. Spreading seas for one. Without bitterblossom I don't think black really gives any enchantments of interest except maybe phyrexian arena.
also the guy who said to sautee bok choi isn't joking. i tried this a few weeks ago and it was really good.
i suspect the steel cut part is just some kind of fad or hype. i checked the box of the steel cut and the non steel cut. all the nutritional data was identical, fiber, calorie, etc.
whats more, straight up steel cut non instand oatmeal takes like 30 minutes to fully cook! who can wait that long to break their fast in the morning!
i cooked it one morning and after finding it not fully cooked after 20 minutes, i never went back to it.
the sprouted cereals are supposed to be good for you as well.
there are also other types of hot cereals buckwheat, etc. you can often find them in the gluten free section of the supermarket.
Contra, what changes did you make to add those?
yeah for each one you can find some support for it, but usually its just an obscure unrepeated experiment or an in vitro experiment demonstrated something in the testtube. vitamins basically support hair growth but do not counter pathologies of the hair unless its due to malnourishment.
i also read a paper showing gelatin was good in high dose, but all the refs were old and obscure and not available online.
but yeah some ppl report improvement in their hair quality by taking the right vitamins.
personally it never did anything for me.
i played with ur list on cockatrice.
red source seems too low. i am often not able to cast the burn. like right now i am losing because i have no red source and he has thalia. had 2 use tolaria west to tutor red source, but taking shock was no good, and i still lost. there is effective nine red sources. but this is too low. you want to always be able to cast galvanic blast.
i find bridge gets discarded and is usually useless. you run a fair amount of draw. its rare your hand will be low enough for it to be useful. and tec edge hurts quite a bit. i suppose thats why u have crucible in the board.
overall i find tezz rarely hits the board and sometimes clogs the hand.
I came across in a janky deck which thoroughly housed my cruel control build on cockatrice. I don't remember the deck though. I think it was some kind of rg land destro.
generic proscar and then cut it into 5ths!
something 2 dollars a month that way. lol
but yeah, finasteride is the first real treatment in that it works indefinitely in the majority of men. and even if you slowly lose, by then there will be better things.
right now another good adjunct is platelet rich plasma + ACell. people are calling BS because they are doing some remarkable things with it and some of the investigators themselves are having a hard time believing it, but I've read some of the papers in peer reviewed publications, and it's real. it allows a form of hair regeneration or "pseudocloning". the full details arent known but they suspect the suspension of the acell is providing a scaffold and some way recruiting stem cells to become progenitor cells which then reconstitute the hair follicle. acell has been use to regrow destroyed muscle tissue in combat vets, regrows parts of ears, and fingertips, so why not hair? there are a lot of converging avenues of research providing support here. some of the applications have been as stand alone injections, as regrowing hair in old transplant scar tissue, and as soaking the to be transplanted hair in the solution and increasing the yields on the transplant. very exciting treatment.
So use a proven treatment and drastically slow the process or stop it.
