    Quote from Bizkit Overlord
You can use tappedout.net for this, I believe. It doesn't have a built-in gametable and pairings, though, but pairings aren't hard to do manually and you can use an external application like MWS to play the games.

Doesn't seem to work for custom cards - just tried it now.

This request comes not because I want to do free drafting - although that would be nice - but for other reasons: I'm working on a cube of custom cards and would get a lot of testing out of a piece of online software that let me upload the cube, draft it with 4-8 players, and allow people to play it online. I'm sure other people would want to use it to draft custom sets, and so forth.

As long as no MTG images are used, this shouldn't be illegal, and I think a lot of people would get a lot of use out of it. I don't have the programming familiarity to develop this, but if anyone does, I would appreciate it tons. Thanks!

    Gaur Stumper - 3G
    Creature - Gaur Soldier
Pack (As long as you control a creature with Pack, after the first declare blockers step on your turn, there is a second declare attackers step and a second declare blockers step in which only creatures with Pack can attack and be blocked.)
    4/3

    Flashbang Gaur - 2G
    Creature - Gaur Soldier
    Pack
Whenever a creature you control without Pack becomes blocked, you may cast Flashbang Gaur as though it had flash. If you do, it enters the battlefield tapped and attacking.
    3/2

    Gaur Logician - 1G
    Creature - Gaur Wizard
    Intimidate, pack
Gaur Logician can't attack unless you control a blocked creature.

  • posted a message on Bragging rights - what cards did WotC steal from you?
I was browsing some old threads - in one, after all the Conflux card names leaked, we were playing a guessing game to figure out what the cards did based on their names, and, well:
    Quote from murielwasser
    Aven Squire
    :1mana::symw:
    Creature - Bird Soldier
    Flying, exalted
    1/1

So there's that. Someone buy this person a soda.

    In a 1/11/2009 thread:

    Exploded Borders - 2RR
    Sorcery
Destroy target land. Exploded Borders does X damage to that land's controller, where X is the number of lands in that player's graveyard.

Worldwake didn't come out until a year later with Roiling Terrain.

  • posted a message on What do you do in this situation re: floor rules and one-land-per-turn?
You haven't been paying full attention and don't know if your opponent has played a land this turn. Your opponent asks, "Did I play a land this turn?" There is a chance that they are cheating and want to play an extra land, and there's a chance they genuinely forgot but would still play the extra land.

Assume this is at an REL - Competitive event.

    Questions:

    - What is the most appropriate reply that will not allow your opponent to cheat an extra land into play?

    - Under what circumstances, if any, would an opponent be allowed to play a land if they didn't know if they had played one this turn?

I haven't been lurking here lately, so this might've been done several times over and I wouldn't know.

The challenge was to make a werewolf that could flip the turn you played it.

    Werewood
    Land - Forest
(T: Add G to your mana pool.)
At the beginning of each upkeep, if no spells were cast last turn, transform Werewood.
    /////
    Werewood's Pack
    Creature - Werewolf
At the beginning of each upkeep, if a player cast two or more spells last turn, transform Werewood's Pack.

    Undercover Sentinel - 2W
    O Creature - Human Rogue

    can't trumps can.

So when one effect is a can't (such as troll ascetic's hexproof) and the other is a can effect (such as penetrate), can't wins.

    AEtherflame Wall begs to differ.

  • posted a message on Rules change for double-faced cards in a draft
    From http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/ld/160:

Speaking of Draft, I have one final note before I sign off. We've decided to make a small change to the rules we announced for drafting with double-faced cards. When you pick a double-faced card, you will be required to place the card on top of your pile of other cards, and you will not be allowed to conceal it in any way until you pick your next card. While this will reveal information to other players, it also removes the need to worry about the manual dexterity required to hide a card quickly after taking it. Now, you will simply need to take into account the information you will be providing before picking a double-faced card.
