Well thank you all for your suggestions, after all the considerations that all you have thrown into the mix. I think either Erebos or even Drana big mana. Or Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed with a reanimate/control build.

To Ogrefoot... JUST because I play on cockatrice doesn't mean anything. I use it for just 2 things. deck editing and also playtesting. I build the decks when I am happy with them on cockatrice.

SO now I just have to decide on the listing.

I wonder if you could do erebos reanimate?

I am still relatively new to commander/edh. I have messed around with a bunch of decks on cockatrice. But I am having issues finding a deck that I actually like.

I am definitely a black player running pox in legacy and things like monoblack devotion in modern and standard.

What I am trying to accomplish is the most degenerate deck for a multiplayer setting. Combos and other stupid ***** is actually preferred in my playgroup.

I do want the deck to have Iconic of black though. Whatever that has ever screamed black over the years. For example avatar of woe, necropotenece, or even phage the untouchable. Just black goodstuff.

I just have an issue finding a commander that I like.

Any ideas?

So a buddy of mind equips Diaochan, Artful Beauty with Illusionist's Bracers.

He uses the ability of Daiochan to kill something of mine I return the favor as printed on Diaochan.
Then he says that the copy he can kill on of my cards due to wording on Diaochan
AND we gets to chose my target due to Bracers text: You may choose new targets for the copy.

SO he says He kills 3 target creatures of his chosen I get to kill one target of my choosing,

I don't think this works I thought it would just be 2 for 2 not the 3 for 1

Fine, I will keep working on the aggro list, So I will completely destroy my build and start anew. I will eventually post it on here assuming my work gives me time to build such a deck,

What is everyone opinion on Lurking Predators? I know it seems very high mana but if it lands it should damn near win a game.

I've done Legion and it was really effective but prone to blow outs?

I am running Sliver Overlord Aggro version and how does everyone avoid getting steamrolled. I am just about to get started doing things and the game is over. I am starting to wonder if slivers isn't good in a super competitive meta.

I also tried the Queen's combo and that gets shut down even faster. A few nicely time silver bullets and you are killed...

Any ideas

So I'm thinking about getting into playing this deck at a competitive level. Hoping to get to the SCG event that in my area soon. So is there anything one should really know.

So I would have drawn myself to death if the opponent so willed it?

We waited until i drew the last card of the "block" with was up to like 40 cards then I responded but if I understand you the 40 cards would still trigger 80 sphinx events and even if i did bounce the sphinx I would still have to draw those cards?

we were playing commander and I had Notion Thief he drops on his turnConsecrated Sphinx he passed his turn.

I draw for my turn he uses the Sphinx ability to draw 2 cards forcing my notion thief to steal the draw. Then because I drew 2 more cards he uses it to draw 4 which in turn makes me draw 4. Is that right? we thought it was and continued this insanity.

After so many draws of this back and forth I found me a Cyclonic Rift which I Overloaded to bunch his stuff to end that idea of forcing drawing.

Did this end the so called stack of ability or did we mess this up as well?

Any clarification you may have will be greatly helpful and appreciated.

I have a simple question. It isn't the budget questions but with is a better build in the unknown metas. The Bitterblossom or Dark Confidant builds I like and have the ability to build either.

I just like to know which is better, Proactive or Reactive as the OP called it.

I want to keep it Monoblack but have tried GB and WB builds.

I am in the mood to buy a gaming keyboard mouse and a good headset, I would like these to have the ability for macros on the keyboard and mouse.

I have seen
razer deathstalker ultimate and razer Naga

as well as the cosair vengenge k95 and M65

The Razer i was leaning too but they seem to have a ton of problems and other concerns

I know the Cosair as they have done other parts in my computer which have been decent.

No knownledge about the headsets.


I just want an awesome (working) set of equipment and not have stupid issues with it.


Any ideas how to choose? Or other ideas open to other ideas and companies, price is not really an issue but would like it to be close to the others I ahve mentioned in price.

I am trying to build a PC because my laptop was outdated and just died. I relize now that I know JACK but hardware I really like software.

My needs are slight gaming (Skyrim, Just Cause, Fallouts) AND IT needs to run the adobe Master Collection very well. I need it to render video in a timely fashion unlike what I have been doing. AND support 3 screens using the windows projector on extend ;-)

I need it this computer to work fast have usb 3.0 and 2.0 ports as many as possible

And cost bout 800 out the door

I would rather it be AMD opposed to intel as i can get more bang for my buck

I am building big black mana deck but I am confused on some things.

In an unknown casual multiplayer meta

I am running 8 different creature board sweeps, is this enough?
My deck has a lot of huge Timmy creatures, the Cmc is very high. Is this a issue in Commander?
