And about Kamigawa, the thing is, I think we all really wanted to love Kamigawa, but we just couldn't because the mechanics just kind of... stunk... and the cards kind of stunk... and. Well. They should redo it.
The one thing I dislike about the Grand Ossuary is that you Exile all of the creatures instead of sacrifice them, which is not very graveyard themed if you ask me. I'm a little disappointed that you exile them.
On another note, I really think they could redo Kamigawa and make it awesome as long as they made awesome cards like this Ninja.
I can't wait to have my Dopplegager Ninja become a Grave Titan and put four 2/2 zombies on the battlefield, given I have a Gravy Titan on the battlefield, of course.
I agree with you about your predictions on the Chaos Reigns phenomenon choices. Morphic Tide is just asking to be chaotic, even though it won't trigger the creatures Cascade effects. Interplanar Tunnel seems solid in there, too.
What do you think about which planes will be in the decks?
For the Chaos Reigns, at least, I expect:
Truga Jungle (Obviously)
Talon Gates (Since it was spoiled with the Etherium Horned Minotaur)
Grove of the Dreampods (I would hope)
Quicksilver Sea (Because you can play the top card of your library, which allows cascade to trigger. AND it's a way of organizing the chaos a bit.)
That Ninja looks really fun! Nothing more surprising when you hold back with your big fatty to block next turn and attack with the little guy, then Ninjutsu into this guy and clone the fatty! What shenanigans!
Just a thought: Since he said Annihilator would be separated from the Eldrazi in future plans, what if someone somehow changed the Eldrazi to make them be less destructive and more beneficial? Like instead of causing destruction they helped by rebuilding planes? Idk how or why, but it's just a thought.
What if: A planeswalker lures the Eldrazi to Mirrodin to eliminate the Phyrexian threat? That way, they Purify Mirrodin. Then, they lure the Eldrazi back into the Blind Eternities? That would kill two birds with one stone, kind of. The Eldrazi can't die and the Phyrexian threat can't really ever be eliminated.
But let's be honest, the Eldrazi would absolutely obliterate Phyrexia. They may live to fight another day, but the Eldrazi can't die. They're made from pure energy and aether and magic in the blind eternities that have taken the shape of crazy things because they're absolutely insanely powerful.
Oh yeah and I'm sure Bolas will find a way to through his two cents in there somewhere.
Why are the planes so destructible? Who really just casts a spell that destroys all creatures? Hydrogen bomb an area on a plane? And why are all the planes doing it? What have the planes become?!
Definitely a really creature-based plane. I'm questioning which deck it belongs in, however. The cascade deck would be awesome with this card, considering you'd be likely to get more than just the one card out of its ability. The chaos ability lets you cascade even more.
On a side note, the plane's name, Fabacin, reminds me too much of Avacyn, which is disappointing. At least it looks really cool. I bet those beans are delicious.
I had always thought of Akoum being that frightening Red and Black mana associated place where there is volcanic activity and where the vampires live. I never would have assumed it would be the heart of Enchantments. It doesn't really makes sense to me.
BUT
Here is where I think it might make sense. Since Akoum is such a dangerous place, the explorers who enter Akoum are likely going to collide with some type of danger, they cast enchantments to help them survive the perils of Akoum. The lucky part is, enchantments seem to react quickly in Akoum, which is fortunate for the explorers. The bad part is, any explorer who is not enchanted has a greater risk of dying in Akoum.
