The white zubera isnt really playable, the effect is suboptimal when you think about what cards you can run in its place. Death Pit Offering needs to be maindeck, it turns your guys into beaters and serves as another sac outlet. Im not so sure I would play aether vial. It is theoretically sound but more often than not it will just get blown up. Every viable deck in the format runs artifact and you are going by the second list that was posted it would be their only target. I tried playing something like this when champions first came out and unfortunately the results were less than stellar.
here is a list I have been playing for a while, I do like the sword version better myself but I find that it gets blown up way to often game 1 and because of the I dont think you can justify running it md.
//NAME: BlastingCreation
SB: 2 Choke
SB: 2 Naturalize
SB: 3 Molder Slug
SB: 4 Oxidize
SB: 2 Plow Under
SB: 2 March of the Machines
4 Eternal Witness
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Sakura-Tribe Elder
3 Wood Elves
2 Solemn Simulacrum
2 Meloku the Clouded Mirror
4 Beacon of Creation
4 Fecundity
4 Blasting Station
2 Rude Awakening
2 Sensei's Divining Top
2 Rampant Growth
2 Plow Under
I think multiple win conditions are necessary due to the fact that cranial extraction is pretty much gg. The hondens seems jank but I suppose it is the only way of winning after march gets extracted either that or use rukh as suggested by Choco.
Horobi seems to be a bit of a shaky. With almost every decl running 1 or 2 kamigawa lands, and given the ohh so numerous ways to simply target the 4/4 flier I dont think he can viably be played. Even with that said though this is the list that somehow managed to win in Ohio. My theory is that he was the only one who showed up.
4 Blinkmoth Nexus
17 Swamp
4 Kokusho, the Evening Star
4 Solemn Simulacrum
3 Chittering Rats
1 Shizo, Death's Storehouse
3 Horobi, Death's Wail
4 Phyrexian Arena
2 Lose Hope
2 Consume Spirit
3 Distress
3 Wayfarer's Bauble
4 Chrome Mox
3 Death Cloud
3 Rend Flesh
Aether Vial is crazy, it is so good and must be included. Recently I have been playing a list that has green in the board for viridian shaman and oxidize. It also runs a glimmervoid in the board (alot of lists do now) to help smooth over the base. It has a great mirror match. As for hoverguard, I suppose it is helpful in the mirror for chumping plated fliers but other than that reason I would rather have a riggers (especially in the mirror if they dont play shrapnel blast)
