Black Enchantment | BB Enchantment 1B, sacrifice ~: All creatures get -2/-2 until end of turn. For each creature that dies this way its controller draws a card. Activate this ability only any time you could play a sorcery.
The pick is close, but I think Clone is powerful enough to edge out Talrand. Talrand is sweet in the right deck, but I don't have the confidence you will be able to build that deck very much in m13.
Disclaimer:
I tend to be weak in control strategies since I prefer aggro decks. If I am not understanding something, can someone please clarify?
Here's one thing - Control decks tend not to use red mana.
And there's a flaw in your thinking. First off, aggro decks don't need to attack with more than 2-3 creatures a turn to win easily, but I'll let that slide. The real problem is that if they're attacking with enough weenies to make this good, why do you need an 8/8? Couldn't you play something more useful and less conditional? For instance, the new sea gate oracle. Blocking their 2/1 with a 1/3 is just as effective as blocking it with an 8/8. If they're attacking with big enough creatures to make the dragon's bulk matter, then the dragon either won't activate or you're already dead.
You guys realize that have the people "excited" about battle of wits won't ever actually spend money and time to troll with it? They aren't actually happy to play with it.
I apologize, because I'm sure I'm posting this in the wrong thread, but...
Is there some place I can post asking for a commission, or would I have to go to each individual artist? I have a digital file of what I would want the card to look like, so I would like some artist that could match if not copy the style of the picture.
If you want to go the land destruction route to deal with Post (A sideboard plan I personally dislike, because it requires heavy commitment) you do have access to Choking Sands and Rancid Earth.
Neither of those seem good at all, and certainly not any better than Spreading Seas. I suppose I'll just stick to SBing negates for their draw spells.
Not really. You only slow down Post, while wasting mana and potentially fixing their mana for them. It does something, sure, but is it really the best thing you could be doing?
With u/b control, I'm often wondering what the best thing I could be doing actually is.

The whole idea is stupid. The mechanic is never fair.
This was meant to be control
PS - I love Augur of Bolas, please don't crush my dreams.

Correction, meant to say Serra Avenger.
