*cracks knuckles* Now, what I'd really like to see happen is for Scott to come register and join us at MT. Let's see how he handles people who can be far bigger ********s than him.

Come to the dark side, Scott... give into your anger... :evil1:

I think not spamming other forums is a good idea, but I'd appreciate it if he wouldn't come over to our forum and threaten our admin. Frown

Although... if what he said about not doing anything on our site that's ban-worthy, that means that peopel could go over there and threaten him! Grin

Scott, if I meet you in a dark alley I am go to give you a very angry stare and perhaps have a few harsh words with you. Grin

Here's an example of what someone with way too much time on their hands can do: http://home.comcast.net/~yiffyraptor/jessicadealkirk.jpg

When evaluating the legitimacy of a card, do realize that even if it passes the physical tests (this card is absolutely perfect, for example), there's still a good chance of it being fake.

Use your head and don't be afraid to guess one way or the other. The worst that can happen is that you're wrong, after all, and that's not so bad. Smile

Um - just a thought, but isn't this giving fakers a list of checks they can make when they fake up a card?

Well, to be honest, if someone is willing to go to the extreme lengths of making a card that passes all of these requirements, then I say they deserve to be believed for a little bit.

Note that a very, very small percentage of fakers can even attempt to pass these tests - most of them will be shot down by us heeding the advice in the thread.

Also note that the ones that are really good know all of this already. Wink I know I do, and I just make cards for fun (mine all have my name on the bottom, so there's no passing them off as legitimate fakes. :p)

Hello... it's me, YiffyRaptor, checking in on here. It's sad to see what's happening to MTGNews... I'd been on there since July of '01.

    Oh well.
