I want this card to feel more green. Also, flying would make this card too powerful as an uncommon for Limited.
This is my second version:
Matsu Outcast 3BG
Creature - Snake Warrior (Uncommon)
Matsu Outcast has hexproof and trample as long as it's the only creature you control.
Sacrifice a creature: Put a +1/+1 counter on Matsu Outcast.
He killed his family out of promise of power. Now, he seeks the power to outlast the demons themselves.

I believe that the "Strong feed on the weak and sitting alone on the top of the chain" is exactly the black-green philosophy, and that philosophy can breed a lots of interesting cards. It is a design space that should be more explored.

Egak - The design is cute, but a lil' bit boring. This card may be too good.
IcariiFA - This card can be mono white.
SelesnyaNewLife - Interesting take on the charms.
Ninja Caterpie - A fun card for sure.
doomfish - The third option does nothing. I like the flavor a lot.
Jimmy Groove - This card is just awesome. You tapped into a new design space. I like this card and what it brings to the table.
Top 3:
First Place: Jimmy Groove
Second Place: doomfish
Third Place: SelesnyaNewLife

I just checked out your set. It seems like we thought about a very similar idea indeed.
My plan is to really make bw different than gur. This is how they will work:
WB: Team work, go wide rater than big, surviving, use every resource, take over an alien world.
Creature types: Human, avens, demones, elementals, rhinos.
GUR: The alien world, Volteron-Style: Go big rater then wide, mix many components into one big spell, discovering cool combos, ever-changing creatures, mana rich land.
Creature types: Illusions, elementals, Psyon (New creature type with new ability)
