Wizards can fold bills of 100$ into boosters and people will complain about how their bills were folded...
its time for this quote to die. its not relevant to their business practices any more. 10 years ago sure, but its 2020. things are ****ed.
you are not getting $100 bills in these. you have what, a 1 in 6 chance to pull from the list? then how many chances in that chance to pull something worth more than $5? some of these cards aren't even playable because they're just bad cards.
all of this while they have direct control over what can be reprint, and included, in any given set, at any given rate.
so tell me again how great it'll be to pay more for a set booster, and open an argothian scion, or a willow dryad.

Opening boosters was and always will be a gambling. The potential to open Grim Tutor is offset by the potential to open Anointed Priest and vice versa. Now, I don't like the fact that this feels like a bribe and them not confidant in their main set, but I also don't hate this product. You buy a set boosters, get some fun art card/foils/theme cards and maybe a chance for glory, just like any other booster product since Alpha. Also I do appreciate the fact that they reprint expensive cards in this. More reprints in a print to demand set is a good thing, no?
after i saw this card and this artwork i thought "what happened to magic?"
i am usually not that kind of guy, being all nostalgic, but to me making a cat dinosaur feels so lazy and uncreative, as if wizards isnt even trying anymore.
just randomly smash creature types together and all the old lore with goblins, elves and angels doesnt matter anymore. no, nowadays we get angel,horror,eldrazi,warlock, single mom creature types.
its not that i cry about "in the past everything was better", it is just that i feel this is lazy work. cant really discripe it, but this is making me lose interest in magic. in the past cards were designed clear and distinctive. (at least to me). now they print out every trash they can imagine and want us to be hyped and pay over the top prices for colored paper. i feel more like "this aitn worth it anymore", which is sad, cause i actually really like the game.

The creature types in this set have their reasons to be that way. Dinosaurs are the red region of Ikoria and cats are the white region, so it make sense. If this card was in Ravnica (as a non-Simic card) or Zendikar or whatever, you were right.
Yes, a one, single, lonely common is a sign that Wizards are evil corporation that wants money. Cool.
By the way, by your logic Vraska's Finisher is the proof that Wizards are a charity group.
WotC promised two crazy mechanics... I can't imagine keyword counters being crazy, and while we don't know what mutate does, I fail to see how activated ability, maybe similar to bestow is crazy... I don't know, we'll see.
It is good to hear that Wildfire393. I am an avid custom card creator in and there is no replacement for that forum... So if you will recreate that with the same community, I will be more than happy
