I am not able to install MTGO on my PC. I'm running Windows 8.1 and I have plenty of hard drive space and sufficient RAM. All that happens is an error message appears saying "An error occurred attempting to install Magic The Gathering Online." If I click the details button all I get is the following:
What's up with the wording on this card? Base power and toughness? When did they start using the word "base" on cards to refer to P&T? Also, "in addition to its other types" doesn't seem to make sense where it is located. Maybe I'm just slow...
This is a fun card. Reminds me of some of the terrible things I used to try when I first started back in 1996. Ya know, real broken combos like Fungusaur + Prodigal Sorcerer. I am so revved up for this Core Set. I always kinda like drafting core sets because they have a classic Magic feel, but this one in particular has rattled my G-spot, baby.
Wow, Ulcerate is a strong piece of removal for a single black mana. And it's an instant. If that is the actual card, then I expect it to be played quite heavily.
I'm digging the art. Divination is always a welcome reprint for limited and Standard. The UW control deck may still want it when M14 rotates out, given that archetype is still playable that far into the future.
Geez, they could've at least made it an instant. Murder looks like rare-level removal compared to this. And Muder is in a core set! This card is obviously designed for limited, but it's still bad in that format. It seems that your opponent is either going to be attacking with the dude you want to kill or tapping him down via some Aura or other effect so as to trigger Inspired. With cards like Asphyxiate, Wizards is obviously trying to convey the lowered power of this block (as if it wasn't painfully apparent), but they are doing it in such an excruciating way. The only thing this card has going for it is the name, and they totally wasted a sweet name on a garbage card.
I haven't been too keen on this set, but Fated Infatuation looks really good. Instant speed clone for 3 mana? Or just a 3 mana clone on my turn + Scry 2? Seems really damn strong, although probably exclusive to Devotion to Blue decks.
I am really sorry to ask this, because I'm sure it has already been addressed. However, I simply can't read 21 pages of posts looking for the answer. Is there anyway conceivable that Wizards would EVER reprint Bob in a standard legal set?
I like this iteration of Chandra quite a bit as well. Wizards has been pretty staunch in their position to not have a broken Chandra, let alone a playable version, yet this time I think she will see the light of day. I realize Conley played with the last Chandra some, but other than that I don't remember seeing her in any notable deck lists ever.
The only thing that kind of sucks is that she can only kill X/1 dudes or possibly nab a dude post-combat if you're lucky. The ability to "draw a card" every turn certainly makes up for that. I'll be testing her fo sho.
Thank you, Joneleth. It's late here and I'm not thinking at full capacity. Are you saying this interaction didn't work as I thought OR that the interaction will not work AFTER the M14 rules change?
"An error occurred trying to download 'http://mtgoclientdepot.onlinegaming.wizards.com/MTGO.application'.
See the setup log file located at 'C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\VSD253B.tmp\install.log' for more information."
Has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it? I can copy and paste the log file if that would help.
Will Marshmist Titan be played due to its similarity to affinity?
Sorry again for such an obvious question.

The FTV: 20 logo is extremely generic though. Bleh.
