....so, me thinks there should be an annoucement.
They keep the secondary value in mind, and they won't do that b/c it would tick off people that own them now too much. they might reprint juzam, but probably only as a judge reward thing...however I doubt they ever will. he's just not as good anymore.
Edit: Just realized 11 years later I never linked in Roland's list/report:
http://www.starcitygames.com/article/12638_The-Legacy-Champs---A-Winner-s-Report.html
I expect 2-3 lower tier decks to top 8 (including me)...this could be combo or a really lucky burn player if too few players show up
2 goblins
1 thresh
1 high-tide
1 landstill
i expect pikula to just miss the top 8
I don't think I'm playing blue...heh, but my deck will likely be able to produce every other color. My deck's name will be Roman Candle.
I won't know what archtype I'm playing for sure until Thursday I imagine...but hopefully sooner.
I fear the randomness that is the early rounds, but I'm glad the time limit is 60 minutes. I plan to play in Sunday's event too.
At gp st. louis, the side event had 10 players
4 goblins
3 thresh
2 pikula
1 monowhite
...of course they were variants of those archtypes, but i expect the numbers to look like that, but with added archtypes b/c of so many more players. i think a lot of hightides will get played, and a lot of lion's eyes i don't want to see. hopefully slow rifter decks will stay away, and hopefully lots of good players will show up.
at work, reply later.

This time he simply replied:
Thanks for sharing, Chris! Looks fun.

But he then gave me credit for the combo here:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/daily/mg119
Which was pretty cool. :-D
Then Mark Rosewater replied to my ask wizards question on the site.
and i don't know this exactly b/c a friend said he saw jon finkel had said it and it made him think of me. it's something like:
the only good dual lands are the blue ones, that's why the others are called things like scrubland and badlands
I've heard a lot of good ones though, just can't think of many right now
