I was working on a budget so the tutors, fetches, and even earthcraft are out of my price range. Savannah is cute, but impossible to get. Hope this helps.
EDIT: Upon further testing, I am thinking of moving all the removal to the sideboard (or just cutting it) in favor of birds of paradise or any other mana-dork. hmmmmm.....
@GibbonMonk - The Grove of Guardians, Selesnya Sanctuary, and Mistveil Plains with definitely find their way into the mana-base. Great suggestions
@CadaverousBloom - Those equipment suggestions are fantastic, but it would pain me to part with my fat creatures. Maybe I can keep both?
Especially the Silverback. Silhana ledgewalker looks very tempting however...
I'll find spots for Argentum Armor and Trepanation Blade.
Kusari-Gama makes me pause... I'm not sure if this is awesome or not. Maybe a good combo with nemesis mask?
This deck is a lot of fun. My favorite so far, out of all my previous janky combo decks! There is lots of card drawing, and recurring nightmare and reassembling skeleton shenanigans. My main problems are: the mana-base is terrible, and sometimes the deck makes you wait forever for that last combo piece.
I have 4x Stoneforge Mystic, so I thought I would make a deck with them for kitchen table multiplayer fun. Trying to keep it budget, the expensive singletons of Survival and Top are here just because I own them and I thought I could make some use out of them.
Here is how you can help me:
Do you know any good, budget equipment I should be using?
I need more creatures and less spells. Suggestions on what to cut or add?
Any constructive criticism will do.
4 x Birds of Paradise - provides flying and fast mana. excellent card, I always want one in my opening hand.
4 x Stoneforge Mystic - heart and soul of the deck.
2 x Kemba, Kha Regent - too slow, I don't have much equipment and I've found it takes 2+ turns to activate her ability. And a 2/2 cat each turn is very underwhelming
4 x Ascetic Troll - this is why I go green. hexproof and regenerate are beautiful things to have in multiplayer. Happiest with a behemoth sledge.
4 x Squadron Hawk - provides early blockers, fills hand with more blockers, occasional beatstick with weapon
2 x Wolfir Silverheart - beast, acts almost like an extra equipment by providing extra power/toughness
1 x Silklash Spider - kills flying, only here because it can be found with survival.
1 x Ancient Silverback - need more of these. its an ascetic troll on roids. love this card, and the cheaper regeneration is very handy.
1 x Sensei's Diving Top - i have one, it help improves draws. figured it was worth a spot.
1 x Sword of Vengeance - budget poopy sword. i want a batterskull
1 x Behemoth Sledge - budget poopy sword. i want a umezawa's jitte
1 x Pariah Shield - amazing combo with troll or silverback. has kept me alive through things like earthquake for 15
1 x Skullclamp - definitely cutable. has not been providing any card advantage
1 x Death's Presence - seems winmore. emergency back up for wraths and effects that get around both hexproof and regeneration
2 x Swords to Plowshares - need removal. best i could think of
1 x Path to Exile - only here because i don't own 3x swords
1 x Survival of the Fittest - same as top, improves drawing and great with squadron hawk
1 x Sol Ring - fast mana. need more
T1 = forest - play birds of paradise
T2 = plains (3 mana now) - play stoneforge, searching for behemoth sledge
T3 = forest (4 mana now) - play behemoth sledge,
T4 = hexproof, regenerating, life-linking, trampling troll.
Would Kruphix, God of Horizon find a spot in this deck? Prophet on turn 5 curves nicely into a Kruphix (play Kruphix on your opponents turn).
A Kruphix/Prophet combo would be nice with some X hyrda's like Mistcutter.
edit: My apologies, I think I just did a necro. This is an interesting deck and I am looking for a home for my playset of Kruphix's
edit edit: How does this deck work for you? Some powerful combos I see, but it seems awfully slow. Where are all the T1 and T2 drops? So what would you do against a horde of angry goblins? Am I missing something?
So many options. Have fun!
Squirrel Nest and Earthcraft = infinite squirrels.
It is not very casual friendly however.
Here is a link to a current deck tech discussion:

Squirrel Nest loves arbor elf and garruk wildspeaker
If you want to be mean and go infinite, there is always earthcraft. but i find that no good for casual games.
harmony of nature is a nice tech
I see you're running Druid's Call, why not some taunting elf effects?
Pendelhaven? coat of arms?

Myself?
blue/white/green - used etb creatures like satyr grovedancer with bounce cards like species gorger to turnbattlewise hoplite and other heroic cards into nightmares for my opponents. There was also several fun enchantments thrown into the mix (rancor and bred for the hunt).
Nothing quite as satisfying as having your tiny 2/2 hoplite grow into a 11/9 trampling, hexproof, flying, scrying behemoth.
