Daily Update gives the english name for "Abiding Vigilance" as Always Watching

Also, I guess Falkenrath Gorger can probably be unitalicized?

Pretty sure only rattlechains and diregraf colossus is part of the cycle, since they share the tribal etb trigger + rewarding you for playing more spells of the correct type, which the wereeolf and vampire reward you for playing doscard outlets and buff spells respectively, and only have one ability

That's true. There isn't an unaccounted-for green DFC, so if there is another (were)wolf tribal card it'd presumably be another Wolfir, but that could happen. Certainly there's room for another rare red vampire.

I still think these two might be part of the cycle? If there were four that worked the same way, I'd say the 5th definitely would, but I could see a 3/2 split in function. But as you point out there's still very much the possibility that the other two members are yet to be revealed

Stoddard says in his article that the Lieutenant is part of a cycle of tribal "lords" that all have a different type of payoff (ie, not all +1/+1 effects). I spent some time trying to figure out if there were any we'd yet to see, but I believe this is actually the last of them.

    Thalia's Lieutenant
    Rattlechains
    Diregraf Colossus
    Falkenrath Gorger
    Silverfur Partisan

Tamiyo's Journal with this lets you pull any creature out of your deck and put it into play. Both this and the journal are too slow at generating clues alone I suspect, but with enough other sources (and there look to be quite a few), it seems like it could be pretty fun.

Newly-spoiled Vessel of Volatility (189, which is a number currently entirely missing from the list, actually) seems likely to be part of a cycle a la Fonts or Seals.
48/96 (moving Uninvited Geist up a bit in speculated position)/143/ 189 /238 maybe?

Also, it being 189 confirms for sure that 190 is where we'll see Village Messenger

Article speculates it could be part of a cycle and that seems pretty likely to me -- it's a good way to have common delirium enablers and we know Wizards likes its single-use enchantment cycles (Seals and Fonts being the two examples the article cites)

No mono green mythics spoiled yet. It has to be two werewolves and and/or legendary humans.

Can't be werewolves, we've seen the rare/mythic checklist card and the one green entry is accounted for by Sage of Ancient Lore. I suppose it's theoretically possible there's a third checklist card but I think it's super unlikely both because there's plenty of room for more names on this one, if it were needed, and because that'd be a [em]lot[/em] of DFCs.

Madness looks to be centred in certain colours, with what we've seen so far -- and even if every colour gets a bit, the presence of enablers definitely varies pretty widely between colours, which would make using it to define all the archetypes pretty problematic. Like, we've seen multiple discard enablers in UBR, but zero in white and only Pack Guardian (which only hits land) in green, so I doubt those colours will be able to trigger madness as reliably.

My current guess is that there'll be off-colour activations in a broader sense for the 'archetype uncommons' -- some will almost definitely be madness, but others not.

It's interesting that, with Nahiri here, there's no room for the now-standard multicolour uncommon cycle. I wonder whether this means that they're defining draft archetypes some other way, or whether it means they're leaving discovering the archetypes a bit more open (since that was for a lot of people one of the highlights of the original Innistrad drafting environment).

Yeah; I do understand the reasoning behind it but easily-available fixing in duels certainly take a hit with the loss of Gatecreeper Vine & company.

I like these lands though, there's some reasonably nice art and there's definitely value to having a cycle that can be reprinted anywhere, without the constraints that an additional ability rider would impose.

Was beaten to the punch on the names/numbers for the lands (here's the source), but also the Nerdist's spoiler confirms Pious Evangel // Wayward Disciple at 034

ETA: though those numbers for the lands have a typo, Forsaken Sanctuary is 273

That explanation makes sense, thanks for being so obliging! If I understand correctly, the outlet for actually dealing all that damage is five-alarm fire?

I've been following this thread for a little while--I admit I find Conway notation really hard to grasp but I still find it very interesting.

The reason I'm posting is because I'm having some trouble figuring out the core of Deedlit's deck? Specifically how the landcyclers work to add layers. I was wondering if someone could, like, explain how it runs? It's possible one of the earlier posts does sort of spell it out step-by-step but if so I have missed it (and I did look, though perhaps not hard enough)
