Probably mafia. My two favorite games that I've played in are Heroes and Anita Blake, both of which I was mafia in and I've found things tend to go the way I want them more often when I'm mafia than when I am town.
Right, because A)you having some one-shot ability influences the likelihood of someone else having that ability on a permanent level(for example: Gigas can get a daykill, but does that stop Vezok from being the Vig?), or B)scum ever actually falseclaim roles that could get counterclaimed(when was the last time you actually saw this happen in a game? Scum have long since figured out that the best thing to do is tell the truth about your own role). Unless you're really arguing that some scum is going to try to falseclaim your 1-shot ability. I wish they'd made a Mac client for GW1 instead of just making one for GW2- I'm stuck with like 2/3 to having every single Elite Skill capped on my Dervish, as well as needing to finish my Vanquishing runs. And all that fun jazz- found out my account was hacked and I lost all my armors except my basic one, and most all the greens I had on my minions.
They left my dye and like 6 ecto though. =/

I don't think it's likely we'll see dervishes. The Guardian profession looks to be doing pretty much what dervishes did (hybrid warrior/healer). Agreed on their outfits though. I like the guardian role. It combines warrior/monk/spirit master into a pretty awesome looking package.
Anyways, I just want to see a release date already. It's been way too long. (I remember back in September when people were like "It will probably come out on their anniversary in April." and I was like "That's way too far away." :()

Personally assassin has always been my favorite profession. Out of all the revealed classes right now I'd say I'd be going with either thief or ranger as my main. Should be interesting to see the last 2 classes (though one of them is very likely mesmer).
I'm hoping we can see more of Sylvari sometime, since they started doing in-depth race overviews recently. I really doubt I'll ever play an Asura as my main though, they look too freaky lol.

As for Manders, it's because I do believe her claim. Partially because (a) cop claim, even with this prevailing mechanic, is a dangerous claim for scum - Asphodel Meadows should have shown why; (b) it fits with the way she failed to go to the exile zone on day 1 and announced it in-thread; and (c) because, as scum, I'm not seeing why she would come out on day 3 and declare tordeck town under absolutely no pressure, when tordeck was still a very possible mislynch prospect.
The only possible quibble I have with her claim is the 'Toponomy' thing, but it's an uncommon enough term that it's entirely possible atlseal just Did Not Do The Research.
