    I disagree completely with Furor.

Especially on abortion. When A woman gets raped and she is pregnant abortions are very good. She doesn't want to keep the child for obvious reasons, not only does it bring back memories perhaps of the rape but it would be looked down apon by the family. If I was a 'rape' child I would rather be aborted then have to live in the knowledge that my family doesn't want me and obviously would care more for my siblings.

I try to keep off the topic of religion but abortion is another example of christianity trying to force its ideas and believes on everybody else and I'm sorry I don't buy their BS.

In type 1 Rack and ruin is certainly better. The 1 Red in its cost and instant speed makes it far easier to cast.

Spree could be good in extended though, but in the newer formats affinity is dieing out and in type 2 jitte is the only really played artifact (top doesn't count as its harder to kill).

Because I don't believe he's right. I believe you can show a religion to be more valid than another. It's certainly outside the realm of science, but it's not entirely outside the realm of reason.

This is completley correct. I'm not religious but some religions do seem more believable then others. Take Ancient Roman and Greek gods, we consider them aload of BS because they are so unbelievable but in a past time someone thought they were real, yet people still do believe in gods that have been more 'refined' to be believable.

Everyone here shares something in common with Christian Missionaries. They only wish to exchanges their ideas with other cultures.

When I give an opinion/view on these forums I have the intention of simply making my opinion heard. I do not expect that to change anyones opinions or ideas and beliefs. I don't try and write in a way that convinces people that I'm right and they are wrong.

Missionaries only argue their ideas with the intention to convert and change peoples beliefs, and yes they do argue. The thing that annoys me about christians is they are so ready to dish out their own beliefs to everybody but the minute someone tries to present a counter argument they talk over you or ignore you.

They only wish to exchanges their ideas with other cultures.

This is incorrect on the basis that exchange means more simply trade. Trades usually require something from both parties.

To most people its kind of like sports. You don't go around telling everyone you play, but if they ask you do. Except you don't have to tell them what soccer is and how you play it.

Seems pretty unlikely, Savra is dead.

She could have said it when she was alive, I'm sure at some point her and the gruul leader were living a co-existance.

Well, there seems to be more evidence than "none whatsoever" that all aspects of our mind are based solely in the neurologoical activity of our brains, and that when we die and that activity ceases then all aspects of our mind (and, I believe most people would agree, ourselves) would cease to exist as well.

As for what happens after death this pretty much hits the nail on the head. It would be like sleeping without dreaming.

I'm scared of how I die because I know that once I am dead I will not worry about it anymore.

The biggest worry with Nuclear weapons is that the leader is insane, I'm sure someone like Hitler would have used them even if it meant he wiped himself out aswell. An extreme islamist is not the sanist person in the world to have control of that sort of destructive power.

Although in saying that, during the course of the cold war there lots of Americans in the pentagon who wanted to use Nuclear weapons. I'm quite sure that no one is 100% safe.

I'm not saying the U.S and Iranian leadership is exactly the same, I'm saying they are both percieved as aggresive regimes (The American people may not think America is percieved as being aggresive but many people here do). Although I have yet to see this new Iranian leadership strike out at another country.

The point is Bush and his 'crew' are looking for an excuse to invade Iran for what ever reasons they have. They did the same thing over Iraq.

Also someone has to argue with you guys it keeps the discussions interesting and brings in new perspectives Smile

Yes, on a country that did not have them, at a time when no other nation on earth had them. The threat of igniting a world-shattering nuclear war was actually something like, I don't know, 0%.

Well I guess that Justifies droping a Nuclear weapon down on a city. It's suddenly alright if they can't do it back, good reasoning.

Iran is an awkward nation that is as mismanaged by its government as that government is offensive. But their ineffectuality is not born of actual incompetence, but rather of a sort of frenzied madness, and as such we must treat them with caution.

The U.S is an awkward nation that is mismanaged (the Iraq war, failure of intelligence and the response to the New Orleans crisis) by its government as that government is offensive (George Bush, Iraq war, over $400billion military spending each year). But their ineffectuality is not born of actual incompetnce, but rather a sort of frenzied madness, and as such we must treat them with caution.

I guess that shows how similar the two countries are, doesn't it?
