Thats why you try to use playskill and play around counterspells. Some of most entertaining matches have been trying to play around counterspells by baiting or trying to talk my opponent into not countering something.
Playskill may be a foreign concept to some though.
Blue imho is just another colour, it has various strong cards that shouldn't have seen print, but so does green/black/red and white. I would rather play blue control decks all day then combo decks, I seriously hate combo.
Blue has nothing on Goblins (especially with 3 REBs and 3 Pyroblasts SB) and it struggled to beat tooth in old standard. Saying to many players here if we have ever played against blue is fundamentaly flawed. I have played over 100 DCI sanctioned tournaments now, I have played against blue decks lots and have never actually played a blue deck myself. (I've splashed blue occasionally) If blue is so good then why is my constructed rating 1820, surely I would lose more rating then I would gain if I lost every game to blue decks.
Before you make comments that you can't back up with any sort of statistical or logical evidence, just think for a moment. If blue is so dominant then why do pro players use other colours.
one of my favourite things when explaining necropotence or bargain to new players is "Life is a free resource, that we start with 20 of, 19 points of that is practically unimportant and I would gladly trade those points to win the game."
I would say survival because i think its an abosutely cool card with awesome design and lots of broken tricks and I also think drop of honey deserves an honourable mention but Oath of the Druids is definatly the best. No one likes Akroma coming into play after they give you a creature via forbidden orchard.
I don't think I gained anything from that article I didn't already know.
1) I figured as much about the pro-player cards, they do anything they can to promote it. With the growing number of 'pro players' and the increase in wizards makeing all good cards rare i'm sure the pro-player cards are paying themselves off.
2) This was pathetic, infact I'm sure the only reason he even mentioned the lawsuit was to make them look like the good guys. I'm on R_E's side, sorry wotc.
3) No comment.
my snip dedector is going mental right now.

I have quite a few heros I'm trying to think of, heres a few:
Myself (I rescued my teacher out of rip, during a storm when there were huge waves, he gave me a computer game and past my assesments all year after that)
Otto von Bismarck - I always forget how to spell name (He was a brilliant politicion who controlled european politics for years)
Erwin Rummel A.K.A the desert fox (He was involved in an attempt to kill Hitler and disobeyed Hitler's orders and retreated from Africa)
The New Zealand rugby league team who beat Australia 24-0, despite being the underdogs and everyone saying we had no chance to win. And handing Australia their worse loss in 2 decades and being the first NZ team to beat them in a test series in 48 years. Stacey Jones FTW.
i vote putrefy.

My vote is Dr. Teeth with HM to Meddling Mage and Finkel infiltrator.
