  • posted a message on [TS] Dralnu the Lich Lord (Updated), Tivadar of Thorn and other tidbits...
I think Tivador was created with legacy in mind. It annoys me alot when type 2 players comment on cards saying they won't see play when they don't take alook at the bigger picture for at least 10seconds. The white 'vindacate on legs' creature sounds awesome, I think I might be playing white weenie in future.

    Dralnu needs haste.

troll ascetic deserves to win it's absolutely insane. But I have playsets of Baloths and Trolls so I don't mind. I really really hope the Djinn doesn't win.

Haakon will be absolutley insane in limited if there are plenty of knights in the set. I was abit disapointed at coldsnap at the start with all this upkeep rubbish but now that we are getting more cards like these revealed the set is looking abit better.

  • posted a message on [TS]Rob Alexander Art tidbits...
This is good to hear, I personally like Rob Alexander as an artist, the character should look pretty nifty. When we have the previews of the books available to us we should get a better idea of who the character might be. Artists are always a good source of tantalising hints.

You say that Bush isn't the most powerful leader because the US public and others would stop him if he tryed to be too 'warlike', where are these people who are supposed to be stopping him. Last time I checked he was making wild threats to every country with something he wanted and bombing towns and cities left, right and center. I'm sorry but the American people are quite spineless. And surprisingly enough there are thousands of nationalistic Americans who love the Republicans and their reign of terror.

You can only be nuetral with America if you don't have oil, for example NZ.

  • posted a message on French people are rude and boring
I agree that the French suck, and so does mostly everyone else. The Germans are some of the freindliest foreigners I've met (aswell as Asians who are usually very freindly), Its just the war reputation.

Nothing ever beats a mince and cheese or potatoe top pie, they taste so good. On a long trip I would like to have mellowpuff biscuits. When I was staying in Christchurch for nationals last year I was eating pizza bread for breakfast and lunch. It tastes so good.

I work part time in a supermarket here (Pak N Sav, which is all over NZ) and they have cameras everywhere, roughly 160-180, most of which are hidden. There is no visible security at Pak N Sav yet they catch thiefs all the time, by thinking they wouldn't have security by the cards and that area is foolish.

  • posted a message on Interrupt abilities in lands
    1) The mana from the lands cant be interrupted, lands don't use the stack.

    2) Shambling shells ability is already on the stack, so even if it dies its affect will still resolve.

Mishras workshop is my vote. Its so broken, worth over 200 and you can use four of em. First turn trinisphere and others... the list goes on. HM to academy, factory, library, bazaar and the 10 rev duals.

Ravager ruled standard for over a year and even showed up in the occasional vintage, legacy and extended tournament.

    Ravager gets my vote.
