It's gotten to the point that the time I spend here is increasingly becoming time I'd rather spend doing other things. I no longer have the drive to spend multiple hours a day on here as I have for much of the past (nearly) seven years now.
I don't regret the time I've invested, and for the people who made this possible, I can't thank you enough, as it's easily the highlight of my time here.
Senior year, majoring in Communication with an emphasis in Electronic Media Production (basically TV journalism school).
Class: Communication Research and Inquiry
Our final for the year was a research paper that we worked on throughout the whole year. For instance, after studying "how to research," we'd have to submit our research materials we were planning on using for the paper. Fast forward to the end of the semester when we're handing in our final copies of our research paper - this is the end of the class on the last day of class after the entire paper has been written, critiqued, and rewritten - my teacher says that she decided I didn't have enough variety of research materials and would have to come up with some new ones. I tossed my paper in the stack and walked out without saying a word.
Despite the fact that I had an 'A' going into the final and got a 'B' on the final, she somehow managed to assign me a 'C' for the class. That would be the only thing lower than a 'B' I got my entire four years and would keep me from being named magna *** laude. To top it off, the ***** was even the one handing out diplomas at graduation. Needless to say I refrained from shaking her hand.
We've done this before. If you're really interested in reading the same arguments that have been made over and over since the creation of the original fetchlands, please feel free to use the Search function. Thread closed.
